An Army National Guard brigadier general assigned to the Joint Chiefs of Staff and a major general in charge of a Kansas-based infantry division have been recently relieved of their duties, according to a report in USA Today and an Army statement released Friday.
Brig. Gen. Michael Bobeck is accused of having an extramarital affair a violation of military law if proven true and is being investigated, according to the USA Today report. Bobeck has been reassigned from his post on the Joint Chiefs pending the results of the investigation.
The report also indicated that Bobeck had a cozy relation with an Alexandria, Va-based consulting firm that had done some work with the Pentagon. It is unclear if that had anything to do with the removal from his post, but at one point, according to the report, Bobeck lived with one of the firms executives.
Bobeck, a decorated officer, enlisted in the Army infantry in 1979 before going on to serve in a variety of billets in both the active duty Army and the National Guard [ ] Throughout his career, he spent time in the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, 10th Mountain Division, and as a company commander in the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment.

Maj. Gen. Wayne Grigsby, commander of the 1st Infantry Division in Fort Riley Kansas since August 2015, has been suspended from duties as commander, according to the Army statement. The removal of a division commander is rare and military officials would not say why he was relieved.
He is currently the subject of an official investigation and we cannot comment further at this time, the statement said. Grigsbys biography on the Fort Riley website indicates that he is still in charge of the unit.

I think kids of today would be wise to take such warnings a bit more seriously.
He’s been channeling Stalin for some time, has he not?
There’s got to be more to it than this. Suddenly this administration is heavy into Family Values? No, I doubt it.
They probably just refused to behave as Obama-funtionaries and unquestioning drones.
But Commander-in-Chief Obufu cheating on his wife with Reggie Love is ok, because he is not technically military, and well, gay sex doesn't count.
I still don't know how Clinton got away with it after admitting to cheating on Hillary with Monica. Oh yeah, oral sex isn't sex, remember?
Grigsby was the one who stopped LTG (R) Jerry Boykin from speaking at Ft Riley.
According to the Topeka-Capital-Journal,
“Grigsby’s tenure until now had been relatively uncontroversial, with the exception of a dispute this summer over a prayer breakfast that resulted in a speaker being disinvited.
Retired Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin had been scheduled to speak at the prayer breakfast in June. But Boykin came under criticism as promoting a screed of fundamentalist Christian supremacy, primacy, exclusivity and triumphalism.
Boykins invitation was pulled the same day, after the Military Religious Freedom Foundation threatened legal action to block Boykin from speaking.”
Boykin is Executive VP of Tony Perkins Family Research Council and founding member of Delta Force. Karma is a b***h!
Clinton tried to delay the Paula Jones case until after he was President because he claimed that as Commander-in-Chief, he was on "active duty."
Fortunately the Clinton-appointed Judge knew the only "active duty" Slick was on was cheating on Hillary, so she denied the motion.
Grigsby made headlines in June following the invitation to a post prayer breakfast for retired Lt. Gen William Boykin, a former commander widely criticized for his conservative Christian and anti-Muslim statements. The Military Religious Freedom Foundation, a civil rights advocacy group that focuses on the separation of church and state in the military, along with others, called on Grigsby to rescind Boykins invitation, and the event was later canceled. It is not clear whether Grigsbys suspension had anything to do with the prayer breakfast. Grigsby previously commanded Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa, which oversees operations against extremist groups in East Africa.
When Paula Jones filed her Civil case against Bubba, he tried to claim that as Commander in Chief, he was basically on "active duty", and therefore exempt from being sued.
Relieving a Division Commander is serious business. He probably did something Carter Ashton and Obama didnt like. Like saying an Infantry Division is meant to win wars, not acts as a left wing social laboratory.
The days of assuming "brass" are blood 'n guts heroes is long past. In fact, it really never was. The military is a bureaucracy and rewards yes men and kiss-ups. If you knew WWII vets, you probably heard some colorful language about their superiors.
And it's way worse since the service academies were feminized. Now, we're paying the military to send a tranny Navy Seal around to lecture on Transphobia. Where are the resignations? My default assumption is that they're all weasels.
You got that right!
Is that a violation of the third amendment?

How the hell can they justify cashiering a general officer for a heterosexual extra-marital affair.
********
The answer to your question can be found in the question itself. The word “heterosexual”
If the General’s affair had been homosexual, we wouldn’t have heard about it.
A pretty clear violation of Military-Contractor DoD policies and regulations in Bobeck’s case. MG Grimsby’s suspension, OTOH, appears to be purely politically motivated.

You are mistaken! Gay relationships are ok today.
