CHARLOTTE, N.C. — CMPD has released the body and dash cam footage in the Keith Lamont Scott shooting investigation. The video was released days after protesters demanded that the footage be made public.

It is Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. I’m not sure why, because there is a Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Department, and cities such as Pineville, Matthew, and Huntersville have their own police departments.

Very odd. Usually a Police Department is named after the city. I guess using "Metro" makes small towns seem big!☺

The police repeatedly tell him to drop the gun. His wife is telling him not to do it. IMO, everything I’ve heard and read so far is for calling it a good shoot.

In tbe wife's video she clearly tells the police that he doesn't have a gun when he clearly does.

Was she trying to get a cop killed?

She also keeps telling him "Don't do it!"
