CHARLOTTE, N.C. — CMPD has released the body and dash cam footage in the Keith Lamont Scott shooting investigation. The video was released days after protesters demanded that the footage be made public.

He has an obvious exposed ankle holster... if he had no gun then there was on need for a holster... and it wouldn’t be be exposed if he hadn’t drawn the gun.

He got out of the car and turned and faced the officers, the distance from the video camera makes it tough to see if there’s a gun in his hand or not but the presence of the holster on his ankle and the gun on the ground in the wife’s video immediately after he was shot supports it. He turned and faced the officers he did not back away from the car
Ok the dash cam is better. I don’t see anything in his hands. He had no interest in putting his hands up.

I saw that dark area around the ankle too and thought the same. But it’s not clear or “Plain to see” IMO.
Well, I’d really like to see a picture that shows him with a gun in his hand as he exits the vehicle. Watched both videos at the link carefully. I see no gun.
Something that troubles me as well. In the second video (body cam), one of the officers says he need to get his tool kit. Something about the way he said “tool kit”.

Yes, I saw something held in his left hand as well. Can’t say what it is, but he is holding something in his left hand.
What dumb luck and what a waste, he did this over a dope charge..
I don’t know what panacea people think that a shaky body cam will be.. real world is not like TV shows and movies. In real life, you can’t enlarge pixelated video from a mini cam to get an exact license plate or a positive ID..
Time to do some “shopping” for the newest in fall fashions..

It’s definitely belligerent behavior. They are shouting orders at him and he is refusing.

no no I’m saying that these videos just make the situation worse because
a) no clear evidence of a gun(which we already knew)
b) it appears he was walking backwards when shot...
maybe thats why the chief didn’t want to release them
