Interesting...when Bill Clinton first became POTUS, he assumed the Secret Service’s mission was to protect him from protesters; one was strongarmed out of the room while he lectured his back.
The blowback was such that Clinton later walked the beach while a woman angrily berated him, the SS being ordered not to intervene if there was no threat.
Obama will learn that once he is no longer CoC, the SS mission is downgraded to his security only.
