Americans will be watching the presidential debates closely not for policies or ideas, but for images and demeanor. This creates a clear opening for Donald Trump. Hillary has hidden behind flacks and party hacks and pandering and controlled media. Trump has behaved exactly the opposite way, speaking for himself, attacking party machines, and acting often unscripted.
If Hillary was elected, she would be the fattest president since William Howard Taft, the shortest president since James Madison, and the second oldest president in American history. These very visible factors will quietly blend into the evaluation voters will make of her, whatever she says during the debates, especially as voters also try to figure out if she is really healthy or if she is lying about that, as she lies about almost everything.
Trump, in contrast, exudes energy and health, and while he is even older than Hillary and while he is chubby, too, the way he carries himself bespeaks a different sort of person from Mrs. William Jefferson Clinton.

Yep.
Hillary has all the personality of a boiled clam. Without any drawn butter.
That's like feeling sorry for Ma Barker.
Hillary would do well to not drop dead at the podium.
"You got two for one when Bill ran for president.
Same in 2016---let me introduce my running mate."
She'll be Velcroed to the podium.
All Trump needs to do is appear Presidential and avoid saying anything stupid.
Too true. ...hill can fake almost all medical issues. ...except that rotating eye thingy
they'll be watching. many doubt she will show. ratings through the roof.
I think you are absolutely right. Hillary cannot get any more voters than she already has, IMO. It is just a matter of disaffected and (eyeroll) undecided voters going to Trump, Johnson or Stein. Trump has the mo-jo.
“Im hoping not, folks, but there is that outside possibility that the witch does just fine during the debate. Lord knows the media and her handlers are trying to cover all the bases!
I am remaining cautiously optimistic that she goes bat-shit crazy though!”
For what it’s worth, I share your attitude exactly.
I hesitate to sound like suspecting she will do adequately means HOPING she does, but it feels like too much to wish for that she goes bat-shit crazy onstage.
There should be a thread where people can post their predictions, earning told-you-so rights after the event.
.. I’d add your predictions to the likely-outcomes column.
I’d be betting the same. But as despicable as this is, we know to expect it. I think Trump is smart enough to know it, too.
Hopefully he is well-prepared to handle questions that he doesn’t know enough about to answer. He’s already done that in interviews, expressing the very sensible idea that he is not a micromanager of every detail in the universe and that he has experts to advise him.
Hitlery’s advance knowledge of the questions might not be the bonus the liberals think. When she gets a planted question, she loves to ramble on and on and bore people with her supposed mastery of the details. Her fan base loves this, but to most everyone else, it comes across as obnoxious and fake.
“No one is tuning in to watch the Witch Of Chappaqua.”
She does have one solid potential upside and downside.
The questions about her health and stamina are now widespread. If she can seem vigorous and make it through the debate without an episode, that will go a long way toward quelling those fears.
OTOH, a coughing fit or an appearance of tiredness or weakness will hurt her. A seizure will pretty much seal the deal for Trump. So I predict she will be drugged up but good on stage to get her through.
Trump can win the debate by simply mocking Hillarys Campaign for being all about this central theme:
*** Make America GUILTY Again! ***
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3451312/posts
Hillary Clinton must be so jealous of Donald Trumps marketing brilliance with his hugely successful Make America GREAT Again campaign theme.
At the Republican Convention, Trumps campaign theme brilliance was further embellished: Each day of the RNC schedule was focused on four cohesive sub-themes of Make America Great Again.
. Monday: Make America Safe Again
. Tuesday: Make America Work Again
. Wednesday: Make America First Again
. Thursday: Make America One Again
This shows a great ability to organize & strategize traits that will make for good leadership later. And traits desperately lacking on the Left.
So, really, isnt it time Hillary comes up with a catchy campaign theme that encapsulates her political philosophy? How about Make America GUILTY Again!
After all, her entire campaign can be distilled into the following GUILT themes.
. Make Corporations GUILTY Again
. Make Males GUILTY again
. Make Heterosexuals GUILTY again
. Make White Males GUILTY again
. Make the US Military GUILTY again
. Make our Borders GUILTY Again
. Make our Police GUILTY again
. Make Liberty GUILTY again
. Make Capitalism GUILTY again.
. Make Successful People GUILTY again and again and again...
The foregoing is the essence of the Clinton/Obama legacy. Notice how these thugs NEVER COMPLIMENT America for excelling. Never!
In reality, it is the Greedy Liberals who should be declared GUILTY for wanting to steal other peoples money for their various socioeconomic fascist agendas. After all, their programs require the implied use of government force on otherwise free individuals (e.g. if you do not pay your taxes to support their socioeconomic fascist agendas, someone will come with a gun to your house and take you to jail).
Compare Trumps campaign theme to other recent democratic campaign slogans:
. The condescending Its the economy, Stupid! theme concocted by the almost sub-human James Carville for Slick Willie Clintons campaign.
. The vacuous Hope & Change theme adopted by Obama managed to suck in throngs of gullible Obama Kool-Aid drinking sheeple into voting for his regime of socioeconomic facism.
. Hillarys Stronger Together theme is bland and unpatriotic. It does nothing to celebrate the individual and is all about collectivism/socialism.
. And Hillarys Im with her theme is just laughable. What does that have to do with running the most powerful country in the world?
None of these campaign themes come close to matching Trumps theme of optimism. This is the same recipe that won Ronald Reagan his re-election with his Morning in America theme.
The Republican National Convention was a celebration of optimism for America and a can-do attitude.
In contrast, the Democrat convention was a celebration of whining negativity and grievances from their loose aggregation of GREEDY special interest victim groups (socialists, anti-racist racists, and feminazis).
Ironically, it is the LEFT that is the GREEDY party because they want to use government to steal from productive members in society to fund their socioeconomic fascist agenda.
Hillary claims to be 5'6". I don't know her real height, but that's within an inch or so of the truth.
Every time she starts to do something odd, the camera will cut away to protect her.
They’ll ask Trump what the capitol of Angola is, and “why that country hasn’t joined the ICCt yet.”
They’ll ask Hillary if she
“likes chocolate ice cream.”
does Hillary get a junior size lectern?
a step stool?
how will the camera positions make Hillary appear normal?
