The NCAA is getting just as bad. That fiasco last year with Mizzou football and Pinkel was just embarrassing. It’s even moving down to the high school level.

I have not given the NFL, NBA or MLB my custom in years.
I am strictly a patron of college and minor league sports.
The only sponsor I patronize is USAA and I have already written to tell them that it is a disgrace for them in particular to sponsor the NFL.
And so far this season I haven’t watched a single down.

I get as much football as I can stand as a band booster. My daughter is in the high school marching band and calls the football game before the halftime show, “the pre-show”.

While the initial sentiments were nice, once started then others want equal time/exposure for their causes.
