Ervin explained in her Facebook post that on September 19, "while in uniform, I made the conscious decision to not stand for the Star Spangled Banner because I feel like a hypocrite, singing about 'land of the free' when, I know that only applies to some Americans." Ervin said in the post that she was punished by Navy officials and that the "equipment I need to do my Naval job" was taken away.

Throw her ass OUT. She took an oath.
IDIOT.
She wants to judge America as a whole by the relatively few times it fails to live up to its ideals - she should be judged in her job performance by the times she fails, not how successful she is - at least then she won’t last long and the military can be rid of her.....
Nothing about that picture surprises me

+1. You beat me to it.
Just wait for the book or video deal. If the Navy does the right thing and sends her to the brig or discs her a miss and kicks her out she’ll be speaking at BLM events.
In a world with Soros and his minions, eroding respect for the traditions and institutions of the USA can pay well.
Can’t wait for President Trump.
I wonder what her rate is and what “equipment” was taken away to prevent her from doing her job. Also, it’s unclear to me if she is active duty, as she is referred to as a “reservist.” I’m wondering if she was at a reserve center doing drills, or if she is actually active and is nearing the end of a first enlistment.
She was “singing” the anthem?
You don’t sing the anthem, you stand st attention if you in formation whilst those in command salute. If you are not in formation you come to attention face the national ensign and render a salute.
Singing? What the....
BCD at the very least, DISHONORABLE would be more appropriate.
E5 according to her collar devices
Unfortunately she’s a reservist. Otherwise she could count on restriction, extra duty and a suspended bust to next lower grade, and I’m betting she’d be assigned to assist in executing both morning and evening colors. Any problems and, as you stated, ‘it gets more serious and escalates rapidly’. Next trip to CO’s Mast and she could leave as an E-3. For an Intelligence Specialist, she’s not particularly bright. Just read she’s claiming the Navy revoked her clearance, which effectively ends her career as an IS. Smart move by Navy if true.
Yep.
Dishonorable discharge poster child.
After 10 yrs in Levonworth.
I know what her rank is, I am wondering what her job specialty is.
LOL. Great comment.
She is in school for some kind of technical training.
Probably she isn’t doing well and this is her way out.
Why did she enlist?
That’s possible. I wonder now if she is actually active duty, or if she is at a two week school for her active duty for training. (ACDUTRA)
Thanks for the info. Agree, her clearance should be revoked and she should be reassigned to other duties until such time as her enlistment is up.
Dishonorable discharge... immediately.
Six years in the brig followed by a dishonorable discharge.
Convenience of the government discharge. Thank you for your interest in national defense. Goodbye.
