Daddy Bush was called a uncaring wimp and vilified by the Clintons. W was called a retard and vilified by Hillary. And yet there good friends. Only in DC.

Amen, Jim. Couldn’t say it better.

Cruz had better cowboy up and honor his pledge to support the nominee-that is unless he is ready to open a law office in Houston Calgary
and work for a living.Teds new Yellow Pages advertisement.

Didn’t Eugene J. McCarthy wait until October 1968 to endorse HHH?

Did he cause a ruckus and foment dissent and disharmony at the convention first?

Ye shall know them by their fruits applies to Ted Cruz in the Senate. And on the campaign trail, I might add.
The man has shown his true colors. Unfortunately, some people seem willing to completely overlook all that we've seen of his real character.

It would be nice to see him do it. Let Romney, Kasich, and the Bushes be the main holdouts.

R. Perry is expected to challenge Cruz for the Senate in the 2018 primary.

Check any new med you got.

It should be done privately. Not publicly. And it’s probably already been done. See post 158 above. Good analysis.

Maybe the unpopular Bushes gave the popular Clintons “permission” to ridicule them.

Much as I dislike the guy-he actually is an American citizen-but if he wants to get a law license in Canada, move back there and open his office, that is fine with me-we have so many ambulance chasing lawyers in the state that every other ad aired during local news, Fox channel-or on Telemundo-is for some personal injury shark’s office promising to work for you-we really don’t need any more of those-and Ted sounds just like one of them...

Some of the McCarthy backers may have been involved in the riots at the Chicago convention, but I don’t think too many probably were.

I cannot see Cruz being named to anything by Trump.
To: Lumper20
He doesn't have to be named to anything. In fact, I hope he isn't. Cabinet members and senior staff in the executive branch rarely have successful presidential bids later in their careers.
The question is: If Trump is the president and Cruz is a U.S. Senator, then how do they deal with each other in a way that works out for both of them?

It should be done privately. Not publicly. And its probably already been done. Either way, I don't think it makes much difference to the outcome of the race, or to the future of Ted's political career.
I honestly don't care what Ted Cruz does, going forward. He's dead to me.

Too late, Ted.
Any endorsement now would simply prove that you have been just been reading the polls.
Everyone knows you have no honor, we saw your political suicide on live TV.
Rick Perry will have no problem against you in the primary, if you even bother to show up. I think you won’t.
Goldman Sachs may offer you a small field office, I hear Nebraska is nice. Closer to Canada.
