Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton leads Republican Donald Trump by six points among likely voters heading into the first presidential debate on Monday, according to a brand-new national NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll.
The survey - which was conducted after Clinton's return to the campaign trail following her bout with pneumonia - shows a bigger advantage for the secretary of state than did polls taken during the heightened scrutiny of her health.

Yes, vote, but somehow we need to get a grip on the machines. Can we have them checked the day before and then guarded by both sides? This needs to be done all the way up the ladder, where the votes are compiled, too.

It’s a real poll of a group of people... only 25% of whom identify as Republicans.
Would love to see more about the poll but it’s methodology is in Scribd which doesn’t work for me.
Inconsistent with the rest of the polls showing a tied race or a Trump lead. But so widely negative that it skews the various averaging schemes (RCP, 538, etc.).
I view this poll with a cocked eye.

They may be, actually likely are, conditioning the public to believe their planned cheating totals. Who knows how many times the Republicans may have won, but didn’t know it.

If you look at the MOE, it could well be a tie.
