The first presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump promises to be the most watched ever, with an audience that could exceed 100 million people, according to experts interviewed by The Hill.
A debate with an audience that size would be something never seen before in U.S. politics and would be a figure close to what the Super Bowl gets.

"Viewers sense the potential for drama and the unpredictable," said Jeff McCall, a professor of media studies at DePauw University ...

Mrs. Z and I believe that the debate will be like watching a NASCAR race ... we're looking forward to seeing a big crash!
We intend to keep the sound off in order to suppress our gag reflex in listening to the Media Monkey and the Witch ... and to better observe the eye rolling, unsynchronized eye movements, podium gripping, leaning, head bobbing, unnatural finger positions, uncoordinated body movements, hand pressing gestures, and unscheduled breaks ... and all the other things that indicate she has pneumonia. We have side bets on how much she is doped up, whether she needs the big black dude to pat her on the back or jab her in the a$$ with a pen ... and of course, whether she keels over. Other side bets on on whether her earpiece cuts out, the use of a body double and whether the show even happens.
This has the potential to be a lot more entertaining than some dumb old football game!

She’s gonna be so pumped up with medication it’ll be like watching a talking statue. She was never quick on her feet to begin with and she’s gonna have a tough time dealing with Trump who will jab, jab, jab, and then land a haymaker on her.

Media will be on a long enough delay to probably cut out before it airs. However there will be people in the crowds with recording devices, bet on it.

All the libs are pounding Lester Holt to prepare to go on the attack against Trump. It will be “interesting” to see what kind of moderation the event receives. I’m sure Trump will do fine, but both Holt and Shrillary will be trying hard to set traps, force errors, etc.

Do we know if the candidates will stand?? I would expect that Shrillary’s team has pushed for the candidates to be seated, but I would hope that Trump’s side insisted that they stand as has been done traditionally.
Does anyone know if sitting vs. standing has been announced? I have looked at the CPD website and various articles but I don’t see anything about it. Shrillary is in big trouble if she has to stand for 90 minutes!!
