The Clinton campaign is postponing a fundraiser in North Carolina for unexplained reasons, while Hillary Clinton remains absent from the campaign trail.
Hillary Clinton postponed a lunch fundraiser in Chapel Hill with some of the states wealthiest and most prominent Democrats.
No reason was given for postponement of the Clinton event, according to CBS North Carolina. It was expected to take place at the home of Betty Craven and Michael Warner.
The event was billed as lunch with Hillary Rodham Clinton and costs ranged from $2,700 to $100,000.

I don't think there's any way Hillary would voluntarily drop out of the race, no matter how sick she is. I suppose the DNC could remove her from the ticket against her will, but that would be a real debacle, no matter who they named as her replacement.
When she did, she looked half-dead.
Hillary, the model of perfect health!
“Biden, Warren, or Moochelle.”
“Heidi old girl, it’s `Game on!’”
She’s dead Jim.
Good luck with it.
Given Hillary is not the kinda girl to turn down big bucks.
I think it was going to end up as lunch with Hillary Rodham Clinton's contagious phlegm...
If she really is dead, they’ll keep it hidden for as long as they can.
What’s another lie? She could be elected from the dead.
The debate is truly D-Day.
The Democratic powers that be have to make a go, no-go call before Monday for a bunch of reasons.
(1)If she is ever going to drop out she will muddy the waters for the new Democratic candidate by being in the first debate. They will want their new candidate to get maximum exposure given the limited time remaining before the election.
(2) If she drops out before the debate then it would be reasonable to postpone it, giving the new candidate time to prepare.
(3) She is spending a ridiculous amount of money on September ad buys—that is all wasted if a new candidate is to be chosen at any point. Every day of delay is more wasted dollars.
(4) I am convinced based on specific (somewhat obscure)state polls (ME and NM, for example) that she is under-performing big time on the internal polls. The fact that she is only polling at 50% in CA with the biased media polls means she is running at least ten points behind Obama 2012 nationwide.
(5) The “attack Trump” strategy has not worked. The Democratic pros now realize they need a candidate with lower negatives (unknown is OK) that won’t scare the public.
(6) A new candidate can present a more moderate face to the public and reassure them about immigration and other topics. Even Merkel has finally admitted she messed up—in Germany. The elites all talk to each other—I think the Democrats may try a little mea culpa and spin to the center on this topic.
(7) I am sure international leaders have been discussing this at the UN this week—Obama’s speech expressed what many of them feel—they need to stop Trump and what they have tried so far is not working.
Just my take—we will see.
What if Hillary Clinton has all her blackmail evidence on every single crony and henchman for the last 50 years (including Bill) in a vault which would be opened upon her death?
That’s genius!
LOL, your pic has been “borrowed”, Counselor!

“I’m too sick to attend the debate.”
The campaign will use her sickness to try for the sympathy vote either way it goes.
If she makes it to the debate, you just know they’ll go super easy on her and will portray everything Trump says as attacking a frail woman.
True. Just concerned because she doesn’t look as bad as some people are saying. I’m a pessimist by nature, so I’m trying not to get my hopes up too much for her departure from the race or unambiguous defeat in the debate.
Yup, you can only put so much make-up/lipstick on a sick woman.
As one sharp FReeper opined when it was first announced ILLary had pneumonia ..... she has “waddling” pneumonia.
Must be our Gas (and democrat) shortage going on here:-)
Dang! Now I can’t not go to it.
