On the high, crenelated ramparts of Castle Clinton, a chill breeze is stirring ― a faint but gnawing sense that the White Walkers are coming, wearing MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN baseball caps on their skinless noggins.
If Donald Trump does sack the fortress, no one who lost the battle will want to admit it was Hillary Clintons fault. It will have had nothing to do with, say, transparency or calling bearded villagers deplorables or the Iraq War vote or the simple fact that middle-of-the-road Clintonism ran out of gas as a public philosophy.
No, other individuals, groups and forces will have to be blamed. In fact, they already are, pre-emptively. If Trump wins, were all going to be too busy moving to Canada to read the postmortems (or write them), so we offer them to you now: RANK REASON
1 THE MEDIA Everyones piñata. Trump will blame the media. Gary Johnson will blame the media. Jill Stein will blame the media. (The media will ask, Wait, which one was Jill Stein?)
2 THE RUSSIANS ARE COMING Actually, they arrived long ago and got into her phone.
3 MILLENNIALS Ugh. F**cking idealists, right?
4 BERNIE SANDERS Remember when people worried that running unopposed in the primary would hurt Clinton? It's going to be an endless wail about how Sanders should have withdrawn sooner.

Hillary’s gun-grabbing anti-RKBA positions should be in at least the top ten! That is one metric that has been somewhat overlooked to date in this election cycle. Here’s what I said back in May.
“I think a good case can be made that Hillary and Bernie are deliberately trying to throw the election to the Republican nominee. Promoting and passing gun control worked so well for Hillary’s husband in 1994, that it elected the first Republican Congress in something like 40 years. And if Al Gore hadn’t of lost his home state of Tennessee (which he lost in large part due to gun owners by 80,000 votes), the cliffhanger in Florida would have been irrelevant and Gore would have won.”
It’s based on it. GRRM is an expert on the War of the Roses. But while the book series was ground-breaking, sublime, powerful...the HBO series was pure HBO crap, what with the fake, unconvincing, boring sex scenes, and the fact that everything that happens on the screen is blatantly about who’s having fake, unconvincing HBO sex with whom, instead of a life-and-death struggle for power amid sorcery, strange meteorology, and some sex, too, that the books were. After getting midway through the second season, I erased it all from my hard drive.
Used to play Kingmaker board game in my younger days........Based on War of the Roses...........
Oh, my! The incessant pining for the Communist Sanders is just surreal.
Is this group really a part of America?
ALL their chickens have come home to roost.
Less about 2A and more about McCrisis reading the tea leaves in Schuck Fumer's letter to IndyMac.
I don’t think she feels any guilt. I think the stress comes from the lies catching up with her and trying to keep them straight.
I believe they were referring to the white walkers from Game of Thrones. The dead — skeletons, come back to life to assault the living wearing Make America Great Again ball caps. I guess they consider Hillary to be among the living.
My Mrs. RI4 says ‘Illary appears to her to not want to win. Says she is only running because someone is forcing her to. Probably the HouseOfSaud, or CIA. /tinfoil
It ain’t over till it’s over. And even then, they’ll try to pull the wool over our eyes in the re-re-recount. With Democrats, no amount of power is too small to fight over. No office is too high to wrench from the hands of the winner.
Hillary! Clinton, reports of her demise have been
greatly anticipated, to paraphrase Mr. Twain.
Wise words. Stay sharp!
I really think 2008 was McCain’s to lose. He made some serious gaffes but his loss was by a slim enough margin despite Obama’s advantages. His three big mistakes were the suspension of his campaign to vote for a massive stimulus package everybody was already voting for; muzzling Palin when she was eager to campaign; and his lackluster performance in the debates where he refused to draw any meaningful distinction between himself and his opponent.
By comparison, he pulled no punches against his primary challenger in 2010, JD Hayworth. He fought with a vigor and tenacity never displayed when he was running for President.
I saw that, too. Democrats love their dog-whistles.
That’s how I read it. Digs are about all they have left.
Oh, no! Perish the thought! They want the opportunity to employee their high-school French in a cozy cul-de-sac in Canada!

#76 - you are mostly correct, except change any scene you expect to show meaningful dialogue and replace it with horrific, graphic buggering. We call it “Game Of Porn”.
