My pop died when I was 14. Before that, I was amazed about how he would tell me “you’re doing this. I know.” Or “you’re thinking. That. I know”
And he was always right.
And then he’d go on to tell me it’s ok, it’s normal or it’s wrong.
But this father knew nothing. Very hard to believe.
All Italian fathers are like that.
Your Dad cared.
Some cultures don’t value or encourage that.
Those cultures produce animals instead of citizens.
