The minister of a Methodist church made national headlines after she scolded Donald Trump for injecting politics into a campaign stop.
The Rev. Faith Green Timmons came on stage and stopped Trump in the middle of his remarks at Bethel United Methodist Church.
She told him to stay focused on the water crisis and not Hillary Clinton.
I invited you here to thank us for what weve done in Flint, not give a political speech," the reverend told Mr. Trump.
Trump graciously complied with her demand.
But something doesn't pass the smell test. Consider this screen grab from the minister's Facebook page:
"We have our chance to show Donald Trump that this nation is filled with intelligent, wise black citizens of integrity many of whom live right in Flint, Michigan," she wrote. "What he will see is how we are braving a man-made catastrophe. HE WILL NOT USE US, WE will EDUCATE HIM!!!"
Well, I guess the Rev. Timmons showed Mr. Trump -- ambushing him in a House of Worship. I will give her credit for hushing up a protester who kept interrupting his remarks.
By the way, the Rev. Timmons has since deleted that Facebook posting. Hmm.
Mr. Trump showed great restraint and class as he complied with her request. And he deserves credit for at least trying to start a dialogue.
I wonder if Rev. Timmons "educated" President Obama like she did Mr. Trump?
Moochelle’s sister?
could be, who knows?
could be, who knows?
could be, who knows?
No. Class.
It sure looked like it.
,,,, does the bear crap in the woods ?
“We have our chance to show Donald Trump that this nation is filled with intelligent, wise black citizens of integrity...”
Her actions don’t show any integrity at all. She made her community look corrupt.
I invited you here to thank us for what weve done in Flint, not give a political speech,”
I, I, I, I........... just like zippy, isn’t it? What a classless statement. I invited YOU here to THANK US. Good Freekin Golly, folks. Contrast this with the gracious Bishop Jackson and his lovely wife from Detroit.
This gal has a lot of class, but it’s all low.
The only person who needs to be educated is you “Reverend” because you’re still a Democrat. And do you really want to talk about who’s been getting used?
The sooner she’s being educated the better.
On behalf of the “Reverend” I say AMEN to that!
Oh ya, clinton and her slave obama, love the little, inner city welfare slaves.

Where was the SS security?!? When this leftist pastrix unexpectedly approached Trump, she should have been tackled or tasered.
Her post surely indicates he wasn’t invited there for anything but to be “taught a lesson” - however that was going to be accomplished.
When Mrs. Bill was faltering in her first campaign, she came back after playing the victim during the debate when her opponent simply came to her podium to hand her something - somehow invading her space. He was such a brute.
The Clinton campaign is now trying to create opportunities to repeat that approach. Trump has always responded to attacks - so they gave the Gold Star family the spotlight knowing they could use Trumps response against him. It appears Trump is learning to not take the bait, hopefully he is becoming more self aware so he won’t be played.
If invited to other opportunities that seem suspect - simply play on his strengths, what he will do to lift the nation. Different audiences need different approaches, pointing out the flaws works for the middle, but when in the lions den, best to point out the opportunities opened by his own election.
That picture tells the story. It was indeed a setup. Another socialist loving Obama fan trying to bring future division into the nation.
I was thinking brother.
