And yet the labor union hierarchy are down with the program. Union workers should revolt on their own leadership, which is selling them down the (Rio Grande) river.

I bought my last new Ford (an ‘86 Mustang GT) in 1987. Prior to that I had ordered an EXP from overseas. Guess that streak will continue.

Any cars they sell in the US will have a 35% tax added to the price if Trump is elected.

Not excusing their decision, but small cars made in America have little or no profit margins.
The philosophy has always been to attract customers with entry level cars, then hope they move up to the more expensive, profitable vehicles as their income increases.

Wait just a minute. Didn’t i hear a talking head at Ford a bit ago when Trump said Ford was moving to Mexico say Trump was not telling the truth?
They would stay here? Yes I am pretty sure I saw that. anyone else remember that?

A lie of omission is a lie nonetheless....please tell the WHOLE story...
Ford is EXPANDING production in the US...yes they are moving small car production to Mexico...but larger more lucrative vehicle production in the US is INCREASING.

Making them in Mexico would boost company profits because of low wages there. Yes, there are other reasons companies move production from the US to cheap labor nations, but cheap labor is and always has been by far the main reason manufacturing leaves the US.
