Anyway, we continue to see Gary Johnson at 8-10 per cent which is totally inexplicable. He got less than one per cent of the vote in 2012. So far in this campaign, he's been practically invisible. Nobody would recognize him if he bumped into somebody on the street.
Last third party candidate to get that level of support was Ross Perot and he was a household name.
So in the end, that 8-10 percent support Johnson is getting will melt away to maybe 1-2 percent as we do have a hard core number of NeverTrumpers who will vote for neither Trump or Crooked Hillary. Almost all those voters will go to Trump.
But even the NeverTrumpers are melting away. Carly Fiorina endorsed Trump just the other day.
These fools are all making statements and taking positions BASED ON ASSUMPTIONS. Trump has turned over the apple cart, and the lack of enthusiasm for Hillary combined with the growing momentum of Trump including more minorities and democrats crossing party lines is placing this election in a whole new territory.
Trump/Pence in a landslide, Hillary for Prison.
Hope you are right, 88. Other than replacing them all with paper ballots and counting by hand, I don’t see how this can be fixed...And wait until the dems get their ‘online’ voting up and running..
Is it mandatory that the electoral votes reflect the popular vote of each state? Can the vote be cast other than what the people decide?
Hillary has plenty of accomplices. Obama too. Legions of rats running for the tall grass. POKEMAN!!! BOOM, we will find you all..
Some clever wag said it best last night, On the anniversary of Benghazi, she was done in by a youtube video!...
1. Election Day on Presidential and Congressional election years will be a Federal holiday. That way, there's way less need for absentee ballots (and all the fraud that goes with it).
2. Ballots will be mark-sense ballots marked by permanent ink markers or pens. Such ballots can be both hand and computer counted.
But if one in five or even one in seven folks that live in those precincts support Trump they won’t stand by and watch the fraud.
Oh my.
I just got on FR. Your post was my first thought upon reading the headline.
Evidently they did in Philly. Can it be believed that in all 19 precincts NOT ONE person voted for Romney?? Statistically, impossible. Yet, there were no complaints..
Needless to say, this is very encouraging, but don’t let up now! Hillary is down, but she’s not out yet. The Dems are getting more desperate by the day, which means they will pull out every dirty trick they can think of to win this race. We must continue to fight for every single vote right up until the polls close on election day. It’s time to put the finishing touches on this one!
No one cares.
Hillary’s problem is the only people who will vote for her are not enough to win the election.
She’s burned her bridge with swing voters and Republicans, Independents, minorities and women are flocking to Trump.
Whether or not debates happen in the future are now moot.
Bill who ?
Yeah, well the same "smart people" were telling us back in April that Trump had no path to the nomination. There was NO WAY he could possibly get the 1237 delegates needed. They did the same thing back then, with all their charts and maps and "experts."
Remember, they were 100% SURE back in April that Trump would not win the nomination on the first ballot and that the GOP would then be able to insert somebody more establishment. There were many here during that time that lost faith and threw up their hands in defeat.
Let's not fall for that again.
Forty eight of the fifty states (plus DC) have a "winner take all" system.Maine and Nebraska are a bit different.I think I've read discussions about what,if anything,an "Elector" is *required* to do when casting his/her vote.IIRC these discussions have concluded that there's little,or even nothing, that can be done to prevent an Elector from voting for anyone he/she wishes. But even if,by chance, that's correct it's my understanding that it's very, very rare (almost unheard of in fact) for an Elector to vote for anyone but the candidate to whom he/she is "pledged".
Out of personal curiosity I'm gonna look up "faithless Elector" and see what pops up.
Toricelli / Rotten Lauten Lautenberg part Deux.
Except this time it ain't Jersey and the whole country isn't in the mood for it...
Or, she'll do the debates via delayed feed from Chappaqua, so they can edit out the twitching and the seizures and make sure the earpiece feeding her what to say doesn't show.
Worked like a charm in Jersey. I hope you are not depending on the RNC to fight for us....
I do worry about the corruption and power of the Clinton and Obama crime machine.
They managed to get Roberts to slip Obamacare through, and they certainly had Comey compliant. If they have the same power over individuals (think Seth Rich), who knows what could happen in the swing states.
