Michelle Obama has bridled for years at the confines of life in the White House and has tried to steer clear of the partisan messiness that has consumed her husband and is fueling this year’s bare-knuckled presidential contest.
But this week, Mrs. Obama will wade into the campaign fray on behalf of Hillary Clinton, putting her broad popularity and reputation for authenticity to work for a candidate who has suffered from a lack of both.
At an event in northern Virginia on Friday, Mrs. Obama will urge voters to register ahead of the state’s Oct. 17 deadline, the first of what aides say will be a series of appearances in the coming weeks in support of Mrs. Clinton.
Mrs. Obama’s steps into the campaign spotlight underscore her transformation from a once-reluctant political spouse into a confident public figure, a role she says she has embraced more fully during President Obama’s second term.

Moochelle is probably Democrats’ replacement if Hillary falters.
This is less a rescue mission on Hillary’s behalf than a trial balloon run to see how she would fare against Trump.
If she fares well - I can see the DNC moving her to the top of the ticket and she would win.
That’s the plan here.

Trump would beat Hillary but even I think he would lose to Moochelle in short order.

We know the Democrats have very short bench and one possible replacement is unacceptable for one reason or another.
Yup its a trial balloon and Moochelle can’t help restore Hillary’s tattered credibility.
That is BS but the first part - well the Obamas, like the Clintons are in it all for themselves.
I need to search all my previous posts since about 2012 on FR. (If there is such a feature) I have said many times Michelle was going to be groomed for president. I was ridiculed and flamed. I despise Michelle as much as her husband but she will win. The ONLY thing the democrats have anymore is “firsts.” They had the first black president, then they want the first woman president, then it will be the first tranny. Moochelle is a home run. First black WOMAN president. And imagine the attacks. Not only will the “THAT’S RACIST” meme still be used but now the added power of “THAT’S SEXIST” comes in to full play.

If for some reason, Hillary can’t continue, Moochelle brings everything to the table except Hillary’s ethical baggage.
I mean she would be talked about for 2020 as a presidential candidate but it could be moved up.
