The mosque that Orlando nightclub gunman Omar Mateen attended was heavily damaged in an arson fire that Muslim leaders said was the latest incident in an escalating campaign of harassment and violence against the house of worship and its members.
Given the timing Sundays 15th anniversary of 9/11 and the start of the Muslim holiday Eid al-Adha investigators believe the blaze that broke out shortly before midnight Sunday at the Islamic Center of Fort Pierce may have been a hate crime, St. Lucie County sheriffs spokesman Maj. David Thompson said.
No one was injured. The fire burned a 10-by-10-foot (3-by-3-meter) hole in the roof at the back of the mosques main building and blackened its eaves with soot.

Just curious, were they making explosives for jihad when the fire mysteriously broke out?
I certainly wouldn’t bet against it.
Gosh, that’s too bad.

What a shame.
Let’s hope for a precedent.

I hope their insurance company investigates for an inside job. My guess is they wanted to renovate and didn’t want to pay for it themselves.
Ya know, it would have been nice to hear a mosque somewhere in America pay tribute to the Americans that died on 911. If there was one, I surely didn’t hear of it.
“House of worship” my a$$ - those goat-humpers worship Satan.
And?
it broke out in the IED components room.
Any evidence to show this wasn’t a do-it-yourself hoax?
“On Monday morning, a pickup truck with a “Don’t Tread on Me” bumper sticker rolled past the mosque. The driver revved his engine and raised his index finger in the air as if making the gesture for No. 1.”
OH MY ALLAH!!!

Que lastima.
Thought this mosque was under surveillance. Known radical Islamic hotspot . Heard some of the 9/11 terrorists attended it.
