Interesting that you were denying malice and now justifying it.

How is expressing strong disappointment, disagreement, or a perturbed state of mind, "showing malice"?

Malice is the root word of malicious. I wouldn't describe a single comment on the thread as malicious. That implies an intent to harm. You think some here are trying to hurt Rush?

People are bent out of shape with Rush. They're unhappy. Disappointed. Even angry - but showing actual malice? I don't think so.

Rush has been fine and I see no reason to be pissed at him.

Many here, including me, do not agree with that statement. Rush has not been fine. He's claimed for decades that he doesn't endorse any candidate during a primary. He put the lie to that in the primary just passed, as he was clearly in the tank for Cruz.

Even when Cruz was beginning to lose badly to Trump, Rush kept shaking his pompoms for him anyway. It got downright disgusting, and yes, it pissed a lot of people off, because by that point, you were either with the presumptive nominee, or you were with the NeverTrump establishment traitors.

You bet some of us are still sore with Rush. We have every right to be.

He was not in the tank for any of them. By contrast Levin was. I think Rush and Hannity were both pretty fair. I never lost any respect for Rush or Hannity. I did lose a lot for Levin, but he is starting to win some of it back. As for Beck...I think he has gone off the deep end...

Disclaimer, I started in the Cruz camp...until I was shocked by his comments after the Trump rally was attacked by thugs and shut down in Chicago...the way Cruz tried to make the violence against the rally partly due to Trump's style of leadership. That was a horrible moral failure I thought disqualified Cruz...blaming the victims rather than the perpetrator apparently for his own political advantage.

It took me a while to warm up to Trump. I thought he was a bit too conceited at first, until I realized how big a heart the man has, and that his conceit is really about getting people to like him and impressing others. He is a get-it-done pragmatic lover of people. Sure he gets a bit angry and lashes out a bit more than he has to sometime--but I think its because he hates unfairness and gets a bit pissed--which is a good thing. I think on the whole he is the best man for the job.

Trump is not perfect, and none of us supporters of him are either. But lets not put any of our allies in the "basket of despicables".
