Hillary Clinton took yet another step on Thursday in opening up to the media: a 16-minute formal press conference during which she slammed Donald Trump for suggesting Russian President Vladimir Putin is a better leader than Barack Obama.
Though the event was similar to the two “gaggles” she held on her plane with reporters earlier in the week, Clinton took the extra step Thursday of giving the media a half-hour warning before answering questions on live video at a podium on the tarmac in White Plains, N.Y. With the event, Clinton effectively ended the months-long standoff with her press corps, which led Trump to brand her “Hiding Hillary.”
Before she took questions, Clinton blasted the GOP nominee for his praise of Putin at Wednesday’s “Commander-in-Chief Forum,” where Trump said the authoritarian president of Russia is a better leader than Obama. Among other things, Trump cited Putin’s high approval rating in his country. “That is not just unpatriotic and insulting to the people of our country as well as to our commander in chief, it is scary,” Clinton said Thursday. “Because it suggests he will do whatever Putin wants to do, and then make excuses for him.”
Clinton also suggested former presidents would be rolling in their graves at the comment. “I was just thinking about all of the presidents that would just be looking at one another in total astonishment. What would Ronald Reagan say about a Republican nominee who attacks America’s generals and heaps praise on Russia’s president? I think we know the answer,” she said. (Trump had said that America’s generals had been “reduced to rubble.”)
She also announced she would be convening a Friday meeting of bipartisan national security experts, including former Secretaries of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff and Janet Napolitano,

Putin isn’t my idea of a decent leader by a long shot.
None the less, he doesn’t trash his own nation and citizens while abroad. That seems a pretty decent start to me.
Of course him holding power for going on seventeen years isn’t what I’d call reasoned.
He’s a power hungry little soul, but at least he cares about his nation even if himself first.

More thoughtful silence, this time from him. Eventually, in a puzzled tone he queries.........
“You want... Beef wif Bwoccori?”
Only a true believer would put this headline up and expect it to be believed. The suspension of belief required to label it a 'formal press conference' is mind-blowing and farcical at a 30 minute call! What was really desired was to put a 'end' to that dead-weight 9 month / 278 day since her last press conference.
It will be instructive to see if any of the MSM will continue the clock to point out the 6 question, 15 tarmac minutes is hardly a formal press conference except to those already drunk of the precedent-shattering chance for a strong-woman to become US President! [sarcastical sarc tag here!]

Yes, of course. In a two man - er person - race between Clinton and Trump, Clinton came in second place and Trump finished next to last.

Nigel Farage called them “dodgy remarks” when she was talking about him. I thought ‘dodgy’ was a good word for what they do.
Answering six questions in 15 minutes from her press entourage IS NOT A PRESS CONFERENCE. A press conference is where you stand before a room full of “reporters” who want to tear you apart, and answer any and all questions for at least an hour, like how Trump does it.
Yahoo/ABC News is so biased they will not allow Pro Trump commentary on their website................
Putin IS a better leader than Obama (which isn’t a high hurdle to clear, mind you). Under Putin, Russia has been very much strengthened, and it is now respected throughout the world (respected, not necessarily liked). Russia’s allies can count on it to back them, and its enemies can count on being on the receiving end of something both significant and unpleasant.
WRT Obama, the exact opposite is true. Thus, Putin is a better leader. The shame of it is that Putin represents a nation that is largely opposed to US interests...but that doesn’t mean that he isn’t very good at his job.
I think he was alluding to the fact that

If Hillary ran onto the stage, naked and sweating, covered with pigs blood, holding three severed infant heads, screaming her allegiance to Satan, this is how Liz Goodwin and Yahoo 'News' would cover it.

Ronald Reagan is spinning in his grave thanks to Obama and Hillary and what they have done to this country.
If anyone except media stooges were listening, this might have had some significance.
