(Mark) Levin: I'm voting for Trump ... here's why

Mark Levin made the big announcement Tuesday night on his radio show after methodically walking listeners through his rationale.

It wasn’t all bad for Trump, however, as Levin later spoke positively about his tax plan, his positions on immigration, law enforcement, and foreign policy. Levin did offer a common and recurring disclaimer: Trump is NOT reliable.

Before getting to Trump, Levin had plenty to say about Hillary Clinton. In short – she is far too dangerously liberal to allow anywhere near the Oval Office.

Levin didn’t know who Trump was. Maybe some of us still don’t know who he is. I pray he is half as good as he suggests. I like Trump because he is not a lawyer politician. I remember him saying that. I used to be a full listener to his program, and in '12 he was telling us to back the GOP's selected candidate.

Doubtful. Rush's loss of revenue doesn't hurt him as much as Levin's, so he doesn't have as much of an incentive to come on board the Trump train.

I'm with you. Levin can give his sanctimonious pronouncement about reluctantly deciding to now vote for Trump, but in my mind he's still and always will be a schmuck for everything he's said and done since the Convention. Had he done this after Trump was picked as the candidate, I would have some respect for him. But now?

“Reliable?” Ask the tens (hundreds?) of thousands of employees whose paychecks Trump has signed consistently over the decades. Ask his kids. Ask the contractors he’s hired. Ask New York City after he re-built the skating rink, among many other improvement projects.

If he was running for the head of the U.S. Park Service and was promising to rebuild all of our National Parks, you might have a point.

You and I have no idea what Trump's real political philosophy is. I'm not sure he does, either. He's been all over the map in his lifetime, and he's made his real estate fortune in a city whose politics can only be described as radically leftist.

Amen. I hope millions more follow. It's not realistic to think that Mark would go from a Never Trumper to a Trump cheerleader over night. I'm grateful that he's come this far and hopefully he'll come even further.
