“Do tell me how many Freepers would turn down 20 mil for a little sexual harassment.”

The ones with strength of character . . . the ones who understand that character is defined as doing the right thing when no one is looking.

Being told by the head of your company that advancement and opportunity would be greater for you if you had a sexual relationship with them is not a little harassment.

The devil is always in the details.

“A little sexual harassment”

Versus the facts of what Ailes was actually doing.

I have read up on it.

Suggest you do the same.

If it’s even a fraction of the specifics alleged against Ailes, you have casually mischaracterized something that was horrifically demeaning and was NOT even a proposition to “sleep with him” as some have assumed, but demands they perform certain specified acts in front of him and on his person, or else.

Sorry to be so “out there” but your post begs for it.

I would think 6 1/2 years. Not worth being sexually harassed or worse. Roger is nasty but he did run a decent network for awhile.

Typical. Carlson was with Fox News for OVER 10 YEARS and was okay with Roger until her RATINGS TANKED because of her ANTI-2ND AMENDMENT RANT a few months ago. So, WHAT TO DO? That's right, get that multi-million dollar LOTTERY HIT for easy retirement!

So, are females liberated and independent enough to QUIT at the first sign of being wronged, or DO THEY STAY AT THEIR JOB like the helpless creatures they are for over 10 years and endure sexual harassment? The latter results in HUGE payouts, so THERE'S YOUR ANSWER!

I have seen this at work with my own eyes. One day she's a helpless butterfly waiting for you to open the door for her. The next, she's a strong determined feminist who can do it herself!

Which is it, ladies? Uhh, I mean 'females'?

I had identical scenarios, sheana.

After awhile, I learned most of the dirty tricks that nasty co-workers and crappy bosses would pull to make your life hell, so you’d either quit or you’d do something they could use to justify firing you.

E-mail is a great thing nowadays, especially when you learn how to save it. Because bosses and/or co-workers love abusing people over e-mail and/or ignoring you when you warn of problems down the road that will reflect badly on the department.

Inevitably, crappy bosses will attempt to delete evidence of wrongdoing, and get very surprised when you hand over a CD or a USB stick full of their shenanigans and tell them, “Here is your copy, I’ve got plenty of others.”

The lawyer from my last workplace got me to sign a non-disclosure agreement about my exit, and gave me a little extra cushion in my severance package to cement the deal.

Not anywhere near 6 or 7 figures, mind you, but good enough for me.

My son is a Newscorp employee (not Fox news but another branch) and apparently Ailes’ predilections were an open secret.

There are no secrets when the boss is a horn dog and getting nooners. It’s just too obvious and creates a bad workplace environment. I had one boss disappearing with female co-workers all the time, getting back rubs in the office, etc. It was so bad you just had to treat it as a bad joke and wait for the guy to move on.

“And there were too many skeptics here about whether this was all made up. Ailes had a reputation for this before Fox News was ever started.”

Hmmm.... Perhaps where there was smoke, there was some fire after all?? If not, why would they be paying out this kind of money to multiple plaintiffs?

Tantaros also in for a big pay day. She’s accused Ailes of the same thing. Greta announced today she’s leaving Fox. One by one all the conservatives are leaving. She’s being replaced by resident RINO relic and Trump hater Brit Hume. Should have given the job to Bolling, Shannon Bream or Jesse Watters, all conservatives, but the job went to a RINO snob no one likes. Fox’s merge with MSNBC continues. If I were Hannity, Dobbs or Judge Jeanine I’d be getting nervous.

In the movie industry this would be called the “casting couch”. Not sure if it would be called the same in this case.

Ailes got old and lazy, IMO. If this was his game he could have gotten plenty of consensual action with women based on his fame, power and wealth alone. Seems like there is some deeper psychological issue here with him. He wanted to dominate and control these women.

Breitbart has always been run far more professionally than Fox has; Fox was stupid enough to take in liberals as employees, while Breitbart employs far fewer (if they employ any at all). As the fradulent Fox News withers and dies, the honest Breitbart can take its place.

We are about to witness an informed electorate, which we have not witnessed since 1984.
