Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte called Barack Obama a "son of a whore" on Monday as he vowed not to be lectured by the US leader on human rights when they meet in Laos. The acid-tongued Duterte bristled at warnings he would face questioning by the US president over a war against drugs in the Philippines that has claimed more than 2,400 lives in just over two months. "You must be respectful. Do not just throw away questions and statements. Son of a whore, I will curse you in that forum," Duterte told a news conference shortly before flying to Laos to attend a summit.

“Son of a whore” is a common phrase in the New England states.
I never heard it used when I was growing up in the New York City area, except for the time a cousin from Massachusetts said it.
So, Duterte is from New England....who knew?
Obama, the dope-smoking, first Affirmative Action President. I find it humorous that to blacks he is viewed as black because he looks black. Even though he was born from a white woman who was impregnated by an East African non-descendent of slaves. Obama’s black blood is East African, while black Americans are descended from slaves from West Africa.

That is a totally unfair attack. We have no indication that Barack Hussein Obama’s alleged mother charged for her services. To the best of our knowledge, she was a floozy, not a whore. Of course, she was a communist too, and evil, but that’s not the topic of conversation.
He was speaking in Tagalog, though his first language is Visayan (thats about the diff between Portuguese and Spanish).
He said “putangina” (same actually in Visayan/Tagalog) - son of a whore, literally, which is the general Filipino curseword, where in the US one would say “f**k”, though of course here one also comes across “sonofabitch” in similar circumstances.
The “puta” part of course is taken from the Spanish word, there being many Spanish words in most Philippine languages.
Duterte is giving me much occasion to explain Filipino cursing and colloquial languages. Other Philippine presidents have been elevated and polite and have generally spoken in English for foreign consumption.
Duterte can speak English, but he isnt very comfortable in it, unlike all his predecessors.

“Putangina” or “putang ina” is literally “whore-mother”, not actually “son of a whore”, though that is the implication, the direct connection, as opposed to the term being simply an ejaculation (as in English, sprinkling your language with “fuck!”), depends on the context.
For instance, properly -
“Putang ina mo” is precisely “your mother is a whore”. Thats an insult to ones face, no quibbling.
Now, what Duterte said was that he WOULD say that to Obama if he is hassled at the meeting.
Chicago is the worst, because there is nothing going on in New York, LA, or Houston to compare to the murder rates and savagery of that single member of the big 4 cities.

There was a bombing in Davao the other day ,, the police are saying it was a 60mm mortar round that was detonated.. Duterte’s daughter is now the mayor of Davao.. it’s a clear signal the drug kingpins are hurting and will fight back... Cleaning out the shabu (meth) dealers will not only help the country with small crimes but will starve the muslems of cash they use to buy weapons.
