Why is the media ignoring this? Heeding Kerrys’ request not to report about terrorism? I checked Fox and din’t see any report.
A few minutes ago she told me about this bombing. She's now afraid to travel.
She was stationed in Davao prior to her current assignment in Roxas. She loved Davao, said it was very clean and safe compared to other places.
I think she'll be safe. Now to convince her. (How sucessful is convincing a Pinay of anything?)
Because the victims are little brown people, and the media hasn't yet figured an angle to blame Trump.
Their "agenda" always is a higher priority than reporting news.

The local police commander says they don’t yet know if it was a bomb or an LPG explosion. That is fairly common there, as fire safety is very low on the priority list of street vendors. Wait and see.

She called me on the phone to ask if I had heard about it. I had been at the monthly Men of Integrity dinner, not that close to Marco Polo hotel, the main Philippine Air Lines office, Ateneo Davao college and the Roxas Blvd open air market.
I had gotten home about 9:45 PM, and I think the bombing was about 10PM. I didn't even know that Duterte was in town.
I heard there was a huge gun battle between the Philippine Army and Abu Sayyaf to the west of Cagayan de Oro in the last day or two. Most of the Muzzies are out west, but I see some in Davao City, but they tend to keep to themselves, and don't bother people. My brother in law's wife is a Muzzie, but she doesn't believe in all this foolishness I guess she is a MINO, Muzzie in name only. Now, Abu Sayyaf is a whole different ballgame. Even SHE is scared to death of them. Since I heard Duterte said he wanted to wipe them out, maybe this is their response. All 7 major malls will be closed today.
