Phew, for a second there I thought it was going to be “Passion 2 - The Revenge”.

There’s not a lot of room for artistic license in this story.

This is glorious news. “The Passion” was one of the greatest examples of modern Christian art I have ever seen.

It sounds like it might cover the time from the crucifixion to the ascension, which would be awesome. Rather than just another movie covering the book of Acts.

When the original came out I wound up as one of the last of my group of friends to see it. I didn’t want to know how the movie portrayed different events and just wanted to see it with no idea what was coming.
They were talking about it one day and I said “hey, don’t tell me how it ends. I haven’t seen it yet”. I got some pretty shocked looks.

The Passion was rough to watch, but of course I knew that going into it. Outside of the martyrdom of some of the apostles, the Book of Acts will be much less graphic and more uplifting at least.

I loved Passion and will look forward to this movie, although I think this is being spurred by the success of RISEN.
