Above is a photo of benched 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick's practice socks, which appear to show a pig in a police officer's hat. snip Despite being largely irrelevant on the field now, Kaepernick has managed to make himself the subject of a flood of headlines after he declared that he would no longer stand for the national anthem because America "oppresses" minorities and allows its cops to "murder" innocent people of color.
Over the weekend, he took his attack on police even further, saying in an interview Sunday, "People of color have been targeted by police. So that's a large part of it and they're government officials. They are put in place by the government. So that's something that this country has to change. There's things we can do to hold them more accountable. Make those standards higher. You have people that practice law and are lawyers and go to school for eight years, but you can become a cop in six months and don't have to have the same amount of training as a cosmetologist."
As the Daily Wire earlier this week, the San Francisco police union responded strongly to Kaepernick's blanket condemnation of officers, slapping him for his "incredible lack of knowledge" about what goes into law enforcement training and challenging him to come see firsthand what the training process entails.
Now these images of his socks have emerged, just inflaming to his anti-cop message. Here's hoping the 49ers cut classless Kaepernick and the rest of the NFL is wise enough to keep what will only prove a massive distraction off their rosters.
This loser is trying to figure out how to keep the spotlight on himself, despite his irrelevance to the game. My guess is he’ll kiss a guy on TV and come out as gay (trans?) when this nonsense blows over.
Clay Matthews. What a mensch!
I hope he ends up getting released by the team and that the other 31 teams pass on the option to pick him up. Maybe he'll have to work at the car wash.
I saw a referee get knocked out by a chocolate malt thrown from the cheap seats. Back before refs wore helmets.
Excrement tossed at the scumbag would be appropriate, IMO.
HE JUST WANTS ATTENTION .. DON’T GIVE IT TO HIM ..!!!!
Anyway, any adult who wears 6 year old style socks .. has a very big problem .. neither of which are the NFL or the COPS.
JUST IGNORE THIS GUY ..!!!!
He can go bitch about things in between the sheets with Michael Sam
I’m surprised he wasn’t wearing Barry O socks.
I always liked Billy Martin’s take on the Reggie Bar. He said the reason it was called the Reggie Bar was that it was brown on the outside, white on the inside, and half nuts!
I would be very surprised, as well, if he makes it into the game.
And if someone steals something Colin owns...
And if someone breaks into his house...
And if someone were to threaten him...
And if someone were to mug him...
WHO exactly would this assclown call?
And WHO would be professional and still help this assclown?
He should be ashamed, embarrassed, and unemployed by the NFL.
He’s just a washed-up football player who is trying to get himself fired so he can then sue for “discrimination.”
.....took the words right out of my mouth......
And in the photo below, the orange object is not a penalty flag, it is in fact an orange:
At the same time, NFL back judge Armen Terizan was hit in the head with a whiskey bottle.
Now I understand. He wants to piss people off so he will get hurt and collect the $14 Million. He knows he's losing it and doesn't want to just fade into the background. If this is the case they need to keep him on the bench even during practice... for his own good.
is there a thread for tonite’s full schedule.?
lite beisbol schedule. imp, do we get a pennant race thread? STL lost, amazing. Roster expansion.
I remember the Reggie Bars. Going further back I also remember Yogi Berra doing Yoo Hoo commercials (he later became a CEO of the parent company) and Whitey Ford doing ads for Matchbox cars, around the time I started my collection. Wow! I’m showing my age ;)
