Interesting Nieto mentioned several times he invited both candidates & Trump quickly agreed.
I’m not sure if he was trying to suggest anything, but clearly the optics (I hate that word) portray Trump as presidential. The media can’t say he is some deranged, off-the-rails lunatic during this meeting.
Trump was tough & respectful.

They will never show it. The takeaway by the press is that the meeting was essentially a photo-op, and it was a failure. Pressure back on to the immigration speech tonight ...
LOL, introduces Ana Navarro as a Republican who is agnostic toward Trump. Who the hell does he think he is kidding? Surprisingly, Navarro thinks this was a good move by Trump, and he did pretty well. He answered tough questions in a tough environmental, something Hillary would never do. For the first time, he said good things about Hispanics (Navarro is on drugs).
Oh, Tapper also introduced Kirsten Powers as agnostic on Trump.
Tapper is a Hillary-grade liar.
Only that he is not playing favorites in the US election. He mentioned that he respects the US electoral process, and made a point of laying out that he was not meeting with Trump in any sort of "preparation for when Trump becomes president." The meeting was a "get to know you and your positions" sort of thing.
Trump has now preempted Hillary. All she can do now is 2nd best with her meeting with El Presendente. Smart move on Trump’s part all the way around. Hillary is probably taking a nap after her American Legion speech.

The media has nothing, Trump has the visuals. People will see President Trump negotiating for America and the media will gab about stuff that listeners tune out.
BIG win for President Trump no matter how the Pro Hillary Anti Trump media spins it for Hillary and against Trump.
The media will spin this in their inimitable fashion, but this is a huge plus for Trump. He is taking the reigns early!!

The impression that Trump leaves is totally, and I do mean totally independent of what these fancy pants liars think or tell others to think. Trumps’ advantage now is: while the press spouts and fumes and whines all afternoon Trump is on an airplane far above and does not have to respond ‘til tonight with all his responses and ducks in a row at his Friendly forum in Phoenix. Genius.
