I like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. In a dream world the bread is super soft, like the Wonder Bread of my childhood, and the sandwich will have crunchy peanut butter, strawberry jam, and a cup of cold milk to go with it.
Maybe PB&J isn't your favorite sandwich, but I want you to imagine your favorite comfort food for a moment. Maybe it's a hamburger, a piece of pie, or a fruit smoothie. Whatever it is, just imagine yourself enjoying the very best version of your very favorite food.
It's perfectly delicious. Then, imagine yourself glancing up on the wall and seeing that the restaurant had a score of C minuses on their health inspection. Then you go to the restroom and it's filthy. A man emerges from the stall having followed by the foulest odor you've ever smelled in your life, and you notice he's still wearing his apron from the kitchen. Then, the unthinkable happens the man who made your comfort food walks right past the sink and doesn't even wash his hands.

Prince, Tom Petty, Steve Winwood, Jeff Lynne and others -- "While My Guitar Gently Weeps"
The last verse of the SSB should become a standard part of its performance
The whole War of 1812 story behind the SSB is really riddled with miracles that led to the outcome
Retired marine sings last verse

The “ hirelings and slaves “ were Americans of all colors and socioeconomic classes who were being burned out of house and home and shelled by Britsh bombardments along the shores of the Chesapeake
American slaves faced a decision- join the British ( who ironically had trafficked most of them to the Americas) ); escape and migrate: or stand and fight for common values promised by America even if unevenly delivered and still in struggle .. The British sought to divide American resistance by offering sanctuary to slaves who would defect - but within limits since the British landholders in the West Indies relied on slavery
Here is one account of that struggle

The people of Baltimore - all of them - free men slaves rich poor tradesmen aristocrats - watching the battle of Ft McHenry from their windows were trapped, facing a common enemy as “ Americans”” and death and destruction of their homes regardless of loyalties ... Scott was pointing out that joining the British against America saved no one f rom its destruction
This is a good version of all 4 verses , dedicated to victims of 911
Who also died at the hands of a common enemy of American values

I believe Scott was referring to the slaves and mercenaries who joined the British cause against fellow Americans and engaged in burning town after town along the shores and tributaries of the Chesapeake
Just for the hell of it I decided to “associate as black yesterday” around 07:59am and walked outside my office on base.
When “Colors” blasted at 08:00 like it does every day at 08:00 on base I faced the direction of the flag and stood at attention hand over heart.
I decided to be white again at 08:03 after realizing I felt no difference, no oppression, no rage or hate towards the flag while associating as black.
Whiny hypocrites.
And no, getting beaten up as kid doesn't qualify, many, many kids get beaten up for a thousand different reasons. It's called growing up and at one time constituted the process of becoming a man.
I know; let's have a MARCH, and we can set cars on fire and break the front glass in stores and loot a 7-11.
Free Gatorade for a Week!!
Yeah, that'll show 'em or something.
Free Gatorade for a Week!!
Hey, you never know what the cat will drag in when you aren’t watching. Thanks!
It's always been my opinion that Larry David, one of the producers of Seinfeld, must of gotten beaten up by an Italian when he was a kid because all of Italian characters in that show were idiots.
Not that there's anything wrong w/ that.
I don’t think many minorities understand how many white men have already become completely estranged from this new “fundamentally transformed” country; I could care less if somebody doesn’t stand for the national anthem when the left has practically criminalized nationalism anyway. I haven’t heard the national anthem live in over a decade; the last time I attended an NFL game they weren’t wearing pink yet in their new feminized “touch football” style of play. They wanted to marginalize white men; let the heirs of the nation (the unassimilated minorities, sexual deviants and women) defend it (here and abroad). They wanted a nation of legalized abortion, affirmative action, socialism, and “gay marriage”; good luck with that...
He looks like he likes boys better than girls, too.
This King guy is dumb as a “box of rocks” The meaning of the lyrics of the Star Spangled Banner, which, began as apoem had NOTHING to do with slavery of black people. See Linkhttp://www.american-historama.org/1801-1828-evolution/star-spangled-banner-lyrics.htm it refers to impressed white seaman that the british used as augmentation to their own sailors !!!!!
It's obvious if you know what Francis Scott Key's poem "The Defense of Fort McHenry" is all about. How many people, do you suppose, know that our National Anthem was once just a poem quickly written on the back of a letter? How many people, do you suppose, know any details of the subject of that poem?
I feel quite certain that Shaun [sic] King is among the ignorami.
We can’t be that lucky. The son of a bitch should be deported though.
I am all for him being deported myself. I have no problem with him believing what he believes. That is his privilege. Let himbelieve it some place else.
Exile......exile shaun
Correct. It was a taunt between his free countrymen and the SUBJECTS of the British crown. This writer is an idiot.
I have always read that the music was an old British drinking song.
Maybe he and Kapernikk can go and find a new country together.
Isn’t the fake black guy’s 15 minutes over?
