Gene Wilder, who regularly stole the show in such comedic gems as The Producers, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and Stir Crazy, died Monday at his home in Stamford, Conn. His nephew Jordan Walker-Pearlman said he died of complications from Alzheimers disease. He was 83.
He had been diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma in 1989.

Quark was completely funny! A garbage scow captain show.
I loved him in Silver Streak with Richard Pryor. So funny.
With a cowardly robot.
I am almost 64. Every day I look in the mirror and yell “liar”!
I absolutely LOVED that guy.

My favorite roo
The censors would never let it be made today.
Heh, I think Richard Pryor had some jokes about people who are wound a tad tight.
But all joking aside now, it's not that complicated. In Isaac* shall Abraham's seed be called.
For others, there's the peanut gallery, where there is the weeping and gnashing of teeth.
* "he laughs"
RIP, Mr. Wilder. Thank you for making me laugh. May your beautiful, expressive eyes light up the heavens.
What you call arrogance, I call faith.
Faith in the words that God gave us, that faith in Christ alone would give us peace with God and guarantee our eternity.
You are absolutely right that God makes the determination. But he has already given us the requirements.
Either a perfectly sinless life, which he says "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God".
Or For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world,
but in order that the world might be saved through him.
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God."
I believe that Jesus is the Son and I'm putting my faith in Gods promise.
Hypocrite: a person who claims or pretends to have certain beliefs about what is right but who behaves in a way that disagrees with those beliefs.
I'll admit, sometimes I act outside of my beliefs. It's not something I want to continually do. So I work to try and change the way I think and act. I'm not, nor is any other Christian, perfect...and none of us claim to be.
You mock about having a "buddy line" but the Bible, where I get my belief in God tells me "But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,"
The Bible says about his children.
""And I will be a father to you, And you shall be sons and daughters to Me," Says the Lord Almighty. "
"Therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God. "
"Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, "Abba! Father!" "
""And I will be a father to you, And you shall be sons and daughters to Me," Says the Lord Almighty. "
"My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father--Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. "
That's my "buddy line"
So which religion is the most righteous of them all and what gives them superiority over all the others?
Jesus said:
Jesus said to him,
I am the way, and the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me.
7 If you had known me, you would have known my Father also.[d] From now on you do know him and have seen him. 8 Philip said to him, Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us. 9 Jesus said to him, Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, Show us the Father? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works. 11 Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else believe on account of the works themselves.
The Bible also tells us:
"he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness,
but according to his own mercy,
by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life."
Access to God has nothing to do with one being more righteous than another. There is only one way.
Amen, brother.
He actually was one of the writers.
RIP
From ad hominem to non sequitur. I could use my entire Latin phraseology knowledge base on that rambling innuendo that leads nowhere.
I’m praying nightly for a lot of Hollywood people. Praying that they will repent and come to know Christ as their Savior. Didn’t pray for Mr. Wilder, perhaps someone else did.

Excellent plan. I will make it my goal to join you.
Alzheimers is the worst. I hope never to get it. Rest in peace, Gene!
Gen. 18:10-15. Did God punish Sarah for her laughter?
Eccl. 3:4
Luke 6:21
Ah Trish and Cyb Barnstable. Yes, I watched that show.
Did he extend eternal salvation based upon it?
