Texas is very important, not just as electoral votes, but also as the shockwave their support has on all the nation, so if the governor of Texas endorse you then that is a big thing!
And exactly that happened today! This is huge message to all republicans to unite behind Trump and beat the crap out of Hillary. The latest Donald Trump supporter comes straight out of Texas and is none else but Governor Greg Abbott. Although he seemed to be supportive of Trump before, he is now encouraging the nation to act on pushing Trump faster, stronger and bigger into the elections.
Abbott said We have no second chance to get this right.
The governor of the Lone Star State explained that the country is at a tipping point. People have to participate if we are going to put America back on the right track, Abbott said while appearing on CNBC....

I’m trying to understand all the hoopla, when back in May, the Texas Tribune had a big story on Abbott and Patrick both calling on everyone to unite behind Trump!
I knew Abbott was one of the first out of the gate supporting Trump when it was obvious he had the nomination.
Spent 4 days in the hospital and was been seeing a burn specialist while it healed.
So FRiend...who is the perfect Senator? You can’t name more than 5 Senators who have consistently been more conservative than Cruz?
Again we could waste a lot of time, money and resources trying to eliminate a conservative Senator...
But I’d rather we focus our energies going after folks who vote against us 90% of the time... and not 10%.
I thought “Niagara Falls” was a Stooges skit ...
Sans mask, of course.
I know that Errol Flynn also appeared in a "Niagara Falls" skit, but the old bum was in a different one.
Why is Brietbart just now picking up on it?
The governor of Texas, ahem, stands with Trump!
That also means that the populace-held idea of entertaining (shhhh) secession, also falls into line with Trump.
Both items betwist, beguile, and bemoan the Democrats, who know all well, what happens when Democrats entertain ‘secession’.

That CNBC endorsement by Abbott was done back in May:
*******************
Yep in May, within two hours of Cruz dropping out, the Governor issued his endorsement of Trump.
Senator Cronyn also endorsed Trump. Missing is the Senator named Cruz who lost the nomination to Trump.
Sad
“The republicans who are opposed to Trump have reasons.”
Yeh its called the RINO corruption gravy train.
Sorry, whoever wrote the headline is an idiot. Trump already has Texas wrapped up and, if he doesn’t, he’s already sunk. Plus, nobody outside Texas cares who the governor endorses. Isn’t that right, Rick Perry?
Not a game-changer and certainly nowhere close to “massive”. It’s the same as if Gov. Moonbeam came out and endorsed Hillary.
We’re in a battle for the life of our country. Personally I wouldn’t care if Trump called me a fat nincompoop with bad hair during the primaries; I’d still endorse him because the alternative is the death of the United States.
But Ted just doesn’t seem to see it that way.
Yes!! But, LATE! Maybe he and McCaul will decide to banish the creepyCruzRuse and jostle him off to sell used cars to Wall Street.
How is it that you saw through Cruz in the Run Off, so much earlier than the rest of Texas? Very curious.
I only became suspicious of his motives when I saw him grandstanding on his own, in that signature Joan of Ark style of his. The rest was easy, with time, and eyes to see and ears to hear.
In his last election for State Senator.....sorry I didn’t make that clear.......
Cruz’ last election was his first election as a US senator. Since then, he was in a primary race where he won Texas with less than 50% of the vote, a vote which was divided, and went to TRUMP in second place after Cruz, and to Rubio in third place (and in Rubio’s case too insignificant to warrant a single delegate).
What is important is watching Cruz and defeating the cur in his re-election. He intends to use it as a springboard, again, to mount another presidential campaign. In fact, he already is keeping his campaign apparatus for “prez” intact.
Yes, and I wasn’t impressed with Cruz and swore I wouldn’t vote for him. There was something about him that turned me off, ergo, I voted for Paul Sadler. I think Cruz s%$t in his mess kit during the presidental primaries and I don’t think he’ll recover,( just my personal opinion of course) but a poll came out recently that Rick Perry would beat him in a senate race and I hope that comes to be. If he wins his next primary and is our candidate for Senate I’ll once again vote for the Democrat. That’s just how much I can’t stand him.
Ah, yes, a man after my own heart. I feel the same. I am hearing drum beats for Michael McCaul R-TX who serves on Homeland Security Committee. He is occasionally on FOX and is deadly serious every time he opens his mouth on these stinking refugee infiltrators floating in from the Middle East and on our southern border issues. A great guy. I know nothing against him.
AND.... he did not endorse or fall over for Ted Cruz! THAT is a huge plus.
The thing is money. Abbott, Perry nor McCaul can compete with the millions Cruz sits on from his presidential scam on the people. It will take a PAC gang to float an even chance for a financial match against Cruz’ re-election, in about 15 months.
I google Ted Cruz news every few days to see what he is up to, and he is definitely running hard after the Texas Republican Party. We need to challenge that romance and get active, inside the party to teach people how to engage as delegates. TEXAS was 97% Cruz delegates. THAT has to change.
TRUMP supporters have got to show up. They stayed home and mowed their lawns this past spring instead of driving down the block to their precinct meetings. Cruz zealots took over from the grassroots right out of the box.
