You may be right, although Assange is a low-key sort anyway so I wouldn’t expect him to sound too dramatic, no matter what he’s got.
I think there may be a couple of shockers in the next dumps, he has to live up to some expectations. If it doesn’t convince most, as you point out, all we need are some independent voters swinging our way.
As far as his corruption goes- he may be- but I think his ego will keep him somewhat in check...he wants to stay in the top tier of anti government whistleblowers.

Do you seriously think Obama would be stupid enough to put a "smoking gun" in writing? The evidence will always be circumstantial and indirect.
Do you think organized criminal put their orders for hits out in the form of purchase orders? All that sort of thing is verbal, and even then, couched in "code."
If what he said about the Russians is true (that he had many documents of a negative nature) then perhaps they as well are after him. Doubt if anyone would want to be his body-double nor food-taster.

And all said citizens say in response, is to criticize him for not leaking more damaging info. before now — when the tragedy is that the US citizens have reacted so little to what has already been leaked! Let us do our own part, and keep putting forward what has already been leaked, which is more than enough to have sunk the Clinton ship before now. And if it hasn’t, that is less Assange’s fault, than it is ours. Keep hammering the message folks, to audiences far and wide, and narrow and familiar. Do we deserve Assange and those who put their lives on the line, for the Truth that the American Press and American people should have, could have, discovered and acted upon without external help? Here’s my suspicion, crazy as it sounds:
There is something in Hitlery’s deleted emails that would tell the world that the birth certificate was fake. This would have brought the government to its knees, and the last 8 horrible years could be overturned. Hitlery must have had something on Obama, and vice versa. I can think of no other reason the two would “get along” and support each other.
