The middle east would be gone as Israel would use everything they’ve got in the end. And I’m sure they have plenty of nukes.

Well, Europe has many, many more than 3 million, and they are further down the road, while our government is hustling to catch up. Check out Detroit...we are I believe getting seriously close to point where returning will become exceedingly violent and messy.
I just little solace that we find ourselves at a point - a point achieved by our own voluntary action - where the very survival of the civilization we have built over centuries is now an open question. That is a massive failure on our part.
