Sorry, not much of a post, just wanted to post something to counter the talk of all this "alt-Right" nonsense.

You may be right. However, consider the three hour address that John Galt delivered to the nation. He spoke eloquently on his ideals, his philosophy. If you read the novel, you would also know that Galt double-majored in physics and philosophy, two disciplines that require extraordinary levels of reading and study.
In that regard, Galt must have been a voracious reader.
I agree. But she's the closest approximation of the vision in my mind in appearance, personality and temperament.

Hey! Same here! I’m here off and on as time allows. Re: the book... I’ve started reading it a few times but never have finished it, believe it or not. Life somehow gets in the way, it seems. I have a long list of books to read/read again, and that’s at the very top. I’ve read so many reviews and opinions about it, it feels like i’ve already read the thing. lol.
