I was telling Pro that I baked my first peach pie today. Yummy!
Been practicing my refrigerator pickles. And want to make a pound cake (as close to great grandma’s as possible) and homemade donuts and homemade jelly.
And one of my granddaughters will start going to the school across from our house and will get dropped off here in the mornings so she can walk to school.
Start thinking about all the things you want to do when you retire and you’ll start looking forward to it. Especially after a day like you had.

The first thing I want to do is rest. I haven’t had more than 2 days off (except a couple 3 day and 4 days weekends) in 6 years. I want to put my brain in neutral for at least a week before I have to think again. d:o)
