Danamco!
When we started our business after got married in 1983 I was Danish and wife an American we named our business Dan-Am Enterprises, Inc. It was a long name for internet use so we shortened it to DANAMCO or Danamcorp. We got many requests if we were associated with Pan-Am. etc.
When I finally became an American citizen, my mother-in-law asked if we were renaming our company to: AM-AM Enterprises, LOL

Thanks..
BTW....They are signal flags, not part of the Navy RM bag of ‘need to knows’.
BUT my crypto helped as by checking the # of flags (and having an idea of what the message was) and matching flags, I was able to decipher it.
Your Welcome....My pleasure....

I used to hang out on mIRC, and I wanted to use the name “Raistlin,” after the Dragonlance character. It was taken, so “Rastus” popped into my head and I used that. I didn’t know at the time that it’s the name of the Cream of Wheat guy and has some racial connotations. It’s probably because of that that I get few responses to my posts. Or maybe it’s just because my posts are dumb.

Dad and I both got tagged with ‘Jinx’ in the Army (he started in Army Air Corps), it is a short form of our last name. So...Hi, Jinx!

When I was little, my mom used to sing that nursery rhyme song to me. Funny how you remember things like that. (Her nickname always has been “Polly”.)
To: Rastus
Interesting. My G-pa was named Joseph Erastus Jinx. He farmed 640 acres in Mississippi. Racial connotations? Not back then, around the turn of the century (20th).

If you type the word Rastus, the first thing that comes up says it’s considered a pejorative term. Maybe the E makes it okay? Or, maybe it’s just typical PC sensitivity.
