On arguably the worst day of Hillary Clinton’s campaign, her campaign manager Robby Mook never stopped grinning and laughing through his Morning Joe appearance. The AP has reported that more than half of the meetings Hillary had as Secretary of State with non-governmental representatives were with people who had donated to the Foundation.
But in what was clearly a grinning-past-the-graveyard strategy, there was Mook laughing like he had just won the lottery. And when he wasn’t actively laughing, Mook kept a smile resolutely plastered in place.
Mook displayed encyclopedic knowledge of all facts favorable to Clinton. But when it came to something that might harm her, Robby suddenly pleaded ignorance. Joe Scarborough asked whether it was true that when Doug Band of the Foundation was sending Huma Abedin emails asking for meetings on behalf of donors to the Foundation, he was also the head of the Teneo firm at a time Huma was on the Teneo payroll, effectively making Band Abedin’s boss. “I, I don’t, I don’t know the details of, you know, what was going on in her life,” stammered Mook. He laughs because that is Hillary Clinton’s modus operandi — the casual, easy, dismissive chuckle to clue the voters that, chuckle, what do you expect the opposition, chuckle, to say, and you don’t even have to grace the issue with a reply. It is like she is constantly sitting across from a delighted Jimmy Fallon, where everyone is in on the joke.
He didn’t know her schedule today because he is only the “Campaign Manager” for the media appearances. In reality, he is just a minor flunky.
I’d hate to be the Mook if Clintoon loses. The boy will be in big trouble.

That inappropriate throw-your- nose-to-the-ceiling hoot & cackle of hers is a staple play, of the Hillary COVER UP Dept annals.
Hillary has done it for years, but now increasingly so, as her nerves are fraying, at the same time there is so much more to cover up.
Hillary is being unraveled (whether she knows it or not) like the true ball of yarn she has always been.
Not so much facts as allegations.
He’s gotta laugh, since he’s not about to cry out, “The emperor has no clothes!”
Especially since he can see the brown stain.
He’s amazed ‘they’ are getting away with it all.
Actually, both Nicolle Wallace and Joe were pretty tough in their questioning.
Nicolle was persistent in asking why Hillary didn’t hold a news conference and answer all questions about this, and Joe wanted to know if Doug Band was Huma’s boss at Teneo at the same time he was asking her for favors on behalf of Foundation donors.
And Joe's Mook sign off was a big “I'm voting for Hillary” smile.
Of course, he had no idea beforehand of what questions would be asked.
Hillary will laugh all the way through whatever appearances she has with Trump. Laughing him off and ridiculing him are all they have now. He has gotta be prepared!
