{snipped a bit) Andrea Tantaros, charged in a lawsuit filed Monday that top executives at Fox punished her for complaining about sexual harassment by Mr. Ailes.

Rules, people, rules!
The job requirements are probably in their contracts and include looking good. Of course that is no excuse for sexual harassment, but would mean that there is a lot of frank talks about appearance and positioning on set. And the management probably does ask them to model their appearance.
I wouldn’t consider that harassment. They are in the entertainment industry.
You never had daughters and went on a beach vacation? I suspect that pic was taken by his wife.....and she was probably in a bikini, too.
thats not creepy at all.
I read the complaint. It states a facially valid claim for sexual harassment but, loaded with provocative details that threaten embarrassment for Fox News in discovery and at trial, seems aimed most of all at a settlement — which is how most such cases are resolved.
She can always get a job on Fox weekend hosting Cashin’ In.
I wish all the hot news chicks would start their own network. No men allowed. I’d watch it (muted)! Even better if they did their broadcasts in bikinis!
Misleading headline. Where in the article does it detail the retaliatory actions against Ms. Tantoros?
Nothing special. If fact, if you minus the makeup, I think you would say, "That's a man, baby!"
Agreed. Women think the only harrassment that can take place is sexual against them.
No, there’s racial, political, fat, unattractive (in that person’s eyes) and many more.
one female boss asked how much have i gained since working there. said it was terrible. i cursed, told her it’s my business and went back to work.
i had ten harassment suits if i wanted at different places.
wasn’t worth it and i think it’s nonsense.
claiming YEARS after the fact. Come on!!!!
Then give back ALL your money in exchange for the lawsuit
“Shame. Whether this stuff is true or not, her career is probably over now.”
Maybe so, but if you add up all the millions listed under each of the five or six causes of action (you might take a few minutes to actually read her lawsuit), she won’t need a job, ever. Personally, I think it’s a disgrace here on FR for some to dismiss her claims out of hand. Some of you are as bad on the issue of sexual harassment as is Ailes. Let’s let a court decide, on the evidence presented, whether or not she was abused.
“Where in the article does it detail the retaliatory actions against Ms. Tantoros?”
Go read the actual lawsuit that she’s filed. Fox is dead meat!
After having a night to think about it, I think Andrea’s complaints reflect the American snowflake mentality of finding offense in everything. Today’s workplace, where complimenting a woman is harassment, is an attempt to drain the humanity out of casual relationships. Saturday Night Live did a great piece a few years ago about the difference in what the nerdy guy goes through trying to survive around workplace women as opposed to how the ‘hot’ guy is treated.
I didn’t see anything in her complaints that a mature woman shouldn’t be able to handle adroitly and move on.
Why don’t you people get it?
Sexual harassment “IN THE WORKPLACE” is ILLEGAL!
You can’t do it....PERIOD. Especially if you are someones superior.
The big boss can’t ask you to twirl around so he can ogle you.
He can’t discuss sexual topics with you.
He can’t infer that promotions may be in your future if you “play along”.
I hope Andrea and all the others get MILLIONS!!!!.
That, Jabba the Hutt, pervert, Ailes deserves whatever bad things happen to him.
A few months ago, I began noticing that all the Fox "babes" had the same chest. Huge boobs barely contained in a dress that was at least one size, if not two sizes, too small for them. Always in spiked heels, always in the similar designed dress, always too short, always impossibly big boobs.
I had to begin to wonder if having breast implants was a prerequisite for employment. Also, just noticed Megan McCain, who has had work done on her face, 'cause she looks different. They are all Barbie dolls.
You mean the nude scott brown or the suited scott brown. I keep getting them mixed up.
How about people just being fed up of hearing about people moaning about what ever harassment, etc?
