If he was deaf and he happened not to look in rear view mirror, how could he know the police were trying to pull him over?
Did he have a weapon?
We have to start realizing that SOME of these incidents are NOT the fault of the dead person.
Today’s police are NOT your Daddy’s police. Too frequently they act like paramilitary forces in an occupied country instead of like public servants.
And thanks primarily to the BLM maniacs it will get worse.

It’s possible, but in the vast majority of these cases the officer is exonerated at trial, if there is one, and sometimes by Obama’s DOJ.
I doubt very seriously the police caught him speeding in the block before his home.
I find that I need to know where the cars are around me, and I try to keep a good idea of what’s going on around me. I don’t look in my rear view all the time, but I do check it not infrequently. I generally know where the cars are around me on my side of the street. If something happens, I have an idea of where I can go to avoid someone, how much space I’ll have.
It’s not this person’s fault not to have done this. None the less, what is an officer to think.
Hey, I followed him for a quarter of a mile.
I had my siren on for over an eighth of a mile.
He ignored me.
I took that to mean he was intentionally fleeing.
He pulled into his driveway.
I didn’t know what to expect.
I exited the vehicle with my weapon in my hand.
He open the door wheeled around and faced me while raising his hand from the hidden side of his body, and seemed to be leveling it in my direction with movement.
It appeared to me he was manipulating an object and I fired.
No I don’t think it was the driver’s fault, but he could have done some things different to avoid this
Is it the officer’s fault? Maybe so. I don’t think so. You touched on a major problem, and that is that this is now open season on cops due to the BLM fiasco. They have to be ready at a moment’s notice.
This is a tough time right now. It will probably get worse until Trump gets in there and can turn things around.
It is my understanding if deaf, there is a device that goes on the dash that will flash if there is an emergency vehicle behind you. If someone deaf refuses to invest in it, they shouldn’t drive. No excuse! What if this was a fire engine or paramedic trying to save someone’s life. Secondly, There is a certain way to act when being pulled over. Stop the vehicle in a safe area, hands on steering wheel. Not - continue driving, exit vehicle arms flailing. These officers didn’t know if they were dealing with someone deaf, drugged, crazy.
Obviously common sense has gone right out the window when dealing with law enforcement.
“If he was deaf and he happened not to look in rear view mirror, how could he know the police were trying to pull him over?”
Maybe he might notice the reflection of the flashing lights and the high beams illuminating the entire interior of his vehicle...
I agree. If he didn’t aim a weapon at the cop I see no reason to kill him. I’ve read about cops killing deaf people before for not following orders.
