Remember the press has been misrepresenting Trump’s position. So the press can say Trump Changed when the fact is simply reporting what Trump has been saying all along
Is it amnesty if he enforces current laws, businesses follow suit by ending employment of illegals, and the illegals go back to Mexico because they need to work?

You have to realize that there are two types of immigrants.
Trump has always said the good ones could come back and would become legal new entrants. This is not amnesty, it is a vetting process that includes a trial in the US where no laws were broken, no welfare was taken, the family held a job, no gang activity, Etc. These are people we want, and Trump has used the existing laws as he said.
Oh, they will be at the end of the line and this means that they must wait the full time limit for the right to apply for citizenship. This means no voting during that time.
