Hillary Clinton’s Campaign Is in Serious Trouble and May Never Recover

She Blew Through $75m in Advertising and Went Down in the Polls

Clinton spent $257m on her campaign to Trump’s $87m so far this election cycle. In June it was reported that Clinton spent $23m on ads in swing states to Trump’s $0. By mid-August Clinton had spent more than $75 million on advertising in 10 swing states to Trump’s $0. Trump has since invested $5 million in swing state advertising.

Clinton’s campaign ads are not working. In spite of spending millions in negative advertising against Trump in highly competitive states like Pennsylvania, Hillary is falling behind in the polls. The fact that biased media attacks and negative advertising don’t seem to impact the race and only help Trump puts Clinton in a quandary. These were her only tools to beat Trump in the election. Now she seemingly has nothing.

She’s Behind in the Polls

After months of liberal media bashing the Trump Campaign has taken a 2% lead in the polls. The media blitz against Trump has not only failed but there are signs that it is beginning to move in Trump’s favor. The more the media bashes Trump, the more Trump gains in the polls. Average Americans are beginning to see how biased media operates.

From this point forward the media campaign to bash Trump will likely hurt Clinton. It puts the media in the same camp as ‘Corrupt’ Hillary and therefore helps Donald Trump. Americans are tired of the media bias and the polls which are designed to put Hillary ahead are now showing her trailing the record-setting Republican. The Trump campaign event attendees were recently heard cheering – “Do Your Job!” to the media. It now is clear that the media cannot be partial and Americans are seeing right through it.

Hillary Clinton’s Campaign Is in Serious Trouble and May Never Recover!

“She Blew Through $75m in Advertising and Went Down in the Polls

Clinton spent $257m on her campaign to Trump’s $87m so far this election cycle.”

This can’t be! We have been screamed at for months about how dumb Trump was for not wasting money on tv ads, and how that was going to cost him the election.”

We have had months of this gibberish being posted, telling us that Trump has lost because he wasn’t wasting money of tv ads like the Criminal Clinton.

The First Principle of Madison Avenue is that no amount of advertising can sell a bad product.

Clinton is trying to use classic negative ads to define someone who is probably already too well-known to be redefined by ads. She's wasting money.

I think it will all come down to the debates, and the Trump ads that will come out of the first one.

And now, even the MSM realize there are SERIOUS issues with the Clinton Foundation. The Left dread the very strong possibility the Clinton Foundation could be connected to the gigantic 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) embezzlement fiasco--and even more so because 1MDB staffer Jho Low contributed large sums of embezzled money to the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, another foundation now under increasing scrutiny (especially after what was reported in The Hollywood Reporter on August 17, 2016).

In short, the 1MDB scandal could bring down the Clintons and a huge fraction of the Hollywood Left.

It’s not enough to just always slam the other side, you have to actually offer a positive vision.

Hillary can’t do that, her ads are just “attack-Trump 24-7”. After awhile, that’s a total turn-off to most voters.

Meanwhile, Trump DOES offer an alternative, positive choice. What a contrast!

No wonder he’s moving into the lead.

Trump may be adopting a “rope a dope” strategy: make Clinton blow through her money early in the campaign, and have her unable to respond later in the fall when Trump ramps up.

Yes, well, the problem with Hillary Clinton, is that people plain don’t like her. And the more they see and hear her, they like her even less.

I agree, and think that 90% of Trump’s fall in the polls-—outside of ridiculous D oversampling-—was due to the Dem Convention, the Khan dustup, and the “Mexican judge” phony claims.

It’s clear Trump is recovering nationally. We’ll see if the state polls follow (they should).

But I agree that after a point negative attack ads won’t work on Trump, but WILL work on Cankles.

I used to sell video equipment in the late 70’s to early80’s.

I remember that RCA videodisc (needle in groove video). They pumped a lot of money in that. I simply refused to sell them because they were garbage. One lady bought one anyway and it came back a few days later.

i.e. you are correct.

Clinton is becoming the Jeb Bush of the actual contest, spending-wise.

It’s a curious thing....go back to 2007 and the build-up in Iowa for the caucus in Jan of 2008. Hillary brought in a huge team and they spent several months with the “big” team acting on a plan in Iowa. Come the day after the Iowa caucus....what was said? No one from the media could explain how the money was spent....but there was nothing to show for all those people she hired to hype her up in Iowa.

You get the same impression now. Bernie and his crowd....didn’t have the money that Hillary had....but they had enthusiasm. Bernie almost beat her on just that element.

I think she is repeating the same episode....tons of money with nothing to show for it.
