DONALD TRUMP on Monday escalated his feud with MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” by attacking co-host Mika Brzezinski’s intelligence.
"Some day, when things calm down, I'll tell the real story of @JoeNBC and his very insecure long-time girlfriend, @morningmika. Two clowns!"
Trump implied a romantic relationship between Brzezinski and fellow co-host Joe Scarborough in tweets marking the latest shots fired in the GOP White House nominee's war on the media.
The comments came the same morning Scarborough and Brzezinski mocked a recent speech from Trump in Fredericksburg, Va., which they found rambling.
"He belted like, honestly ... like he's had a lot to drink," Brzezinski said.
Scarborough responded to Trump's attacks on Twitter, advising him to focus on the general election: @HillaryClinton is targeting key swing states today while Trump starts his day obsessed with cable news hosts while channeling Gawker. SAD!
Trump has repeatedly criticized “Morning Joe” for its coverage of his presidential campaign. Earlier this month, he called Scarborough “sad and irrelevant,” citing the show's “low ratings” as evidence.
And Scarborough earlier this month urged Republicans to remove Trump as their party’s presidential nominee

Trump misspoke. They’re assclowns.
Maybe. But Trump has better things to do than get into a Twitter war with them.
Don’t clutch your pearls so tightly.
You are cutting off your air supply.
Not a very statesman-like tweet from Trump. It’s basically akin to kids saying that Joe and Mika are “sittin’ in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g”. Somebody needs to change Trump’s Twitter password to lock him out, and they should let Ivanka do the tweets for him.
How many people on the street would know who Scarborough and Mika are? It’s irrelevant. This election will be won or lost at the debates. Nothing else matters.
Trump needs to ignore the media.

It’s called “punching down”. And Presidents don’t do it.
Haven’t watched Morning Schmoe in about a 100 years.
I always cringe when he does this, but it does serve a purpose.
It lets reporters know he is still going to hit back when attacked and it tosses a bone to his millions of twitter followers who love this kind of stuff.
And as for Joe and Mika...this (their affair) is their Achilles' Heel.
At the end of the day, I think Kellyanne will deal with Trump better than Manafort. If she wants him to stop this kind of behavior, she will tell him so and he will obey.
Trump tends to listen to women more than men.
I don’t care for it either but he dares go where everyone else is afraid to go and speaks his mind. I think that’s what people like about him.
Only 6% of Americans trust the media so you can’t lose by going after them.
People do want Trump to be Trump, especially his Twitter followers who do so in order to hear from the man himself.
Mr. Trump is still going to win because for two reasons: 1. Hillary’s health is not good 2. Both the Clinton Foundation issues and further releases of the e-mails will take Hillary down.
Trump is putting his “Trump Fair Media” seal on various outlets so his followers know where their valuable time will be wasted.
The outlets that are 100% negative on Trump and have been called out so far are:
1. Washington Post
2. New York Times
3. CNN - especially Don Lemon
4. Morning Joe - Joe & Mika
She's supposed to report news.
Sue her for slander.
Before Trump actually won the nomination Morning Joe was the only show Trump got a fair shake. Ain't politics fun?
You are assuming the media is right and these things hurt rather than help. Maybe he should be more like Bush/McCain/Romney and let the media beat the crap out him and lose with dignity.

I can’t stand this side of him. It’s obnoxious. I want last week’s Trump back.
We need every vote we can get and YES this stuff does matter in a tight general election.
