I’m old enough to recall when McCain was Donald Trump - the outsider, the rebel, service above party, stabbing the party more than once in the back. Sounds great in theory, but most of those times I liked what the party in general was doing more so than what McCain was doing.
I don’t have to hate John McCain to oppose him. I disagree with his voting habits more often than I agree and I would vote against him in the primaries every time.
He is a veteran. I am a veteran. I appreciate that aspect of him.
Also, regardless how inept the campaign was... without him selecting Palin, we’d probably not have ever heard her speak. I appreciate the Palin juncture of the overall McCain experience as well.

She defeated a family friend to gain her first elected position representing my home town and surrounding area as a MN senator. I don’t recall you or anyone else in the district talking about Huma’s background until MB brought it up nationally.
Good Lord, you specifically mentioned your distaste for Obamacare earlier. Nobody has opposed Obamacare in the trenches more than Michele Bachmann. NOBODY.
For God’s sake... even after Robert’s stabbed us (as you also mentioned) she STILL introduced another bill to kill Obamacare - the very first bill of the next Congress!

If the first time you heard of Huma and the MB was when Bachmann brought it up, you are ill informed.
Bachmann ran interference for Mitt Romneycare for President.
Bachmann was IMPOTENT as is Cruz and as beholden to the same BushieRove bank-sters as is Cruz.
Talk is cheap, especially when you hold legislative office and can actually accomplish something.
