I’m not sure where you’ve been since the Tea Party revealed the real enemy was the GOPe; truly, your statements are as dated as John McCain’s 2010 Senate campaign.
“...where youve been since the Tea Party revealed the real enemy was the GOPe...”
I was here. Freedom loving and anti-establishment for decades by then. Where were you?
“...as dated as John McCains...”
I’m old enough to recall when McCain was Donald Trump - the outsider, the rebel, service above party, stabbing the party more than once in the back. Sounds great in theory, but most of those times I liked what the party in general was doing more so than what McCain was doing.
I don’t have to hate John McCain to oppose him. I disagree with his voting habits more often than I agree and I would vote against him in the primaries every time.
He is a veteran. I am a veteran. I appreciate that aspect of him.
Also, regardless how inept the campaign was... without him selecting Palin, we’d probably not have ever heard her speak. I appreciate the Palin juncture of the overall McCain experience as well.
Here is a test:
Assuming you lived in AZ, would you support McCain if he wins his primary on the 30th?
