Tea Party firebrand Michele Bachmann says she is advising Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump on foreign policy.
The former Minnesota House representative attended a fundraiser in the state for Trump on Saturday, where she revealed to the press that she has his ear on foreign policy.
He also recognizes there is a threat around the world, not just here in Minnesota, of radical Islam, she said, according to MPR. I wish our President Obama also understood the threat of radical Islam and took it seriously.
Hes a common-sense guy, not into political correctness, Bachmann added, according to the Star Tribune.
Bachmann is already part of Trumps Evangelical Advisory Board, providing support to Trump on issues important to Evangelicals and other people of faith in America.
Bachmann, who has yet to officially endorse Trump, launched an unsuccessful presidential bid in 2012.

Expect Philip Haney (See Something Say Nothing) to get a high post at DHS.
Good news!
Michelle Bachmann is one of the most admirable Congress members to ever serve!
Great news!
If this has been reported earlier I missed it so it’s news to me.
Ms. Bachmann is a hard core American, and not to be fooled with. A welcome addition to the Trump administration.
I like her but I also like Marsha Blackburn; she spoke on news this morning. Wow, I just wish Trump would have picked a woman for VP like Marsha.
oh no. I wish she would keep quiet if she is advising Trump. Hopefully she will not make TV appearances on his behalf.
Not a fan. She and her husband built a “successful” business on ... Tax Return Preparation.
Michelle, in my view, is a courageous conservative politician who would be a wonderful asset to Trump’s administration. I hope this is an opportunity for her to come out of the shadows and get on the front lines the Trump-led counteroffensive against America’s enemies, especially those in the Democrat Party.
Expect a breakdown from Pi$$y Matthews in about 24 hours.
Conventional wisdom says you are correct, but I remember how relentlessly the media attacked her. Michelle said many of the things Trump is saying now long ago - and she took the heat for it.
Trump continues to build and improve his team a team that may lead to victory, and there may be not better addition to that team than Michele Bachmann.
It would be great to see Bachmann go on the road with Trump and make speeches.
We may even see Trump, prior to the election, nominate Michele Bachmann as his Secretary of State.
Bachmann is another RoveBushie fake Tea Partier. Watch
Michelle does not like the tax laws and talked about it - someone has to prepare taxes so her and her husband built a business around it. Good for them - certainly does not mean she likes the laws that require such services and she has said as much.
If you recall, she predicted gas would return to less than $2.00 a gallon. She was ridiculed to no end. Then fracking gained a foothold in our energy production and sure enough, gas prices plummeted. Not one comment from the naysayers.
So how many “successful” businesses have you built?
I personally am OK with Bachmann. She makes a lot of people cringe though.
Yeah, the idea of starting your own business is unAmerican.
Seems to me this website is trying to stir something up.
she is just trying to PR mooch.
She probably gave unsolicited commentary and now claims to be an advisor.
