I had enjoyed reading Roger Kimball for years, but hes been unjustifiably critical of Trump this entire campaign. I had written him off as one of the (no longer) entrenched GOP establishment and stopped reading his scathing articles.
Now this very surprising and encouraging.

First, it was said that he got into the race simply to garner publicity, to burnish his "brand."
Garner publicity? Before he got in the race there weren't 10 people in the USA who didn't know who Donald Trump was.

I just found his article kind of stupid and narrow minded. As if he began, realized he was being way too nice to Trump, and then wormed his way into finding a way to attack him (for using the term “African-Americans,” of all things).
And Trump had every right to go ballistic every time he mentioned Ted Cruz - the guy was (and, I presume still is) a lying scumbag.

I refuse to watch TV news but the wife continues.
She came in laughing at the lateest lame ploy they were using.
Now that Trump has toned down his rhetoric, the presstitutes are saying “Well, Trump didn’t put his foot in his mouth this time, but HERE’S what he was saying before!” and they dredge up and run some of his old performances.
Sickening.
