When he didn’t actually endorse the nominee of the Republican Party for President of the United States, he demonstrated that “Lyin’ Ted” may have been one of those hurtful things Donald Trump apologized for saying, but it was extremely accurate.

I think Perry could be a half decent Senator, although I despised him as Governor, for a number of reasons (including trying to privatize the Interstates, along with trying to build thousands of miles of toll roads), but in the Senate he might be ok - and I will certainly vote for him over Cruz...that’s a no-brainer.
And yes, he will run...he’s no different than Rubio - he lives for political office, and he has none now.
Rick perry would end up being a Cornyn clone. Even with Cruz’s flaws, I’d rather have him.
