Manafort issued his resignation Friday to Trump and fellow senior campaign officials, the friend said.

Good points. Hopeful on what you said.
Manafort’s specialty is managing conventions. He has done a good job.
I agree. At this point in the campaign different management was needed, Conway and Bannon will fine tune the message to those voters that need to hear it.
I am amazed how decisive Trump is when he needs to fire people. That is a very good sign of a strong executive.
Trump could have the Cajun Navy and the Duck Dynasty crew with lots of boats. Gotta play by their rules. As Rahman Emmanuel says never let a crisis go to waste. Beat them however we gotta.
[I think he tried an intervention, got Trump to endorse Ryan (which happened right after the rumor about the intervention) and then Trump just decided he had had enough of Manafort]
I wonder if Manafort persuaded Trump to pick Pence, too. That pick was very unconventional of Trump. I saw Trump picking Flynn as his first choice. I admit, I would prefer Flynn too.
Hopefully the Clinton hag will crack under stress of campaign schedules. Ihopeihopeihopeihopeihope.
That would depend on his character
If he goes public and goes negative against Trump, then we all know he was snake in grass anyways and Trump did the right thing by demoting him.
If he does what Corey does, support the Trump campaign, then he is polishing his resume in future campaigns with other candidates.
Manafort missed what was going on: IF WE THE PEOPLE had wanted Jeb we would have voted for him... we voted for Trump. We wanted Trump the person, Trump's ideas, Trump's solutions, AND Trump's 'tone'...

From reading the article, it was some of both. He’ll be around in the background though, informally and according to the article they parted on good terms.
If the new speeches from this week are any indication of the new direction without Manafort, it’s a great decision.
KELLYANNE CONWAY NEW TRUMP CAMPAIGN MANAGER!!!!! Anyone paying attention?
Conway is also much more forthcoming about her strategy for the campaign of bringing an uplifting, thematic, policy-centric message directly to the American people. I like that. It keeps everyone on track to have a clearly defined plan laid out to the public and to have it continually reinforced in media appearances.
Yes, I know she is.
I’ve paid very close attention.
Ted Cruz acolyte takes over Trump campaign
Manafort did his job. His job was to ensure that Trump got the nomination and to oversee his convention. Those things required some coordination with the establishment and his efforts were succesful. I do not think it will be anything but a friendly parting of ways.
There was a piece from 4/23/2015 in the NYT, “Cash FLowed to Clinton Foundation Amid Russian Uranium Deal”. The Clintons got more money than Manafort supposedly did.
I luv that gif! I have to admit, sometimes I have been guilty of using the coach but not this time. I think this is, overall, good news. Manafort had a role to play (clinching the nomination) and now we are on to a new phases.
Nice analogy. The runup to D-Day was anything but peaches and cream. A stone is not worn down by a splashing wave, it is worn down by the constant drip, drip, drip, of persistence.
I shocked that this Ukrainian allegation has damaged Manafort but Hillary skates on every single illegal pay to play payment she an Bill received through her entire tenure as Secretary of State. I'm just shocked.
Do you think that maybe the media hasn't heard about Hillary's corruption? Maybe someone should let them know.
