His full name was Walter Page Noe. He preferred to be called Page. He was born in September of 1947 and died Aug 8, 2016, at Brokenshire Memorial Hospital in Davao City, Philippines. My wife and his, are sisters. I am the one who introduced them together.
I havent looked at his profile page lately, but he probably has some pictures on it, with his wife Marlene. She is my sister in law, as my lovely wife Menierva, is her younger sister. You can see her pictures on my profile page. We are saddened by his death.
He was placed in intensive care on Sunday, Aug 7th. By the morning of the 8th, he Called my name, and my wife called me at home, in tears, and said I needed to go to the hospital ASAP. I arrived about 11 AM, and there were a bunch of medical staff inside the room, so I was out in the hallway. I called to him. I did not know if he heard me, but my wife thinks he saw me and heard me, and once he did, then she said he gave up, and at 12:41 PM, on Monday, 8 Aug 2016, he died. Now, we are putting the pieces back together. I forgot to mention, he was a Navy veteran, I think from 64 to 66.

Thanks T. Per your request, I will give you a little more history on our relationship with WVkayaker (Page Noe) I will do all this from memory, so I will do my best. First, let me publicly thank Jim Robinson, for the kind freep mail he sent to me. It certainly made us feel better. Thank you again Jim.
I first met Wvkayaker (Page) on one of the threads in early 2013. I think we started freep mailing each other, and started getting to know each other better. At that time, I was courting my girlfriend Menierva, who is now my darling wife. I had already made the long trip to Davao City, to meet her in person, and we had decided we wanted to get married.
I found out that both Page and myself, were Christians, so we had the most important thing in common. Page was already living in Ormoc City, Leyte, the same Island in the Philippines where General Douglas MacArhur landed, after he made his famous saying "people of the Philippines, I shall return." Believe me folks, the Filipinos have NEVER forgotten that. We continued to freep Mail each other. I knew he was kind of looking for a special lady to share his love with. It just so happens, that my wife has a special sister named Marlene. I decided to play Cupid, and proceeded to introduce them together. The rest, as they say, is history. Page and Marlene developed their love relationship, and Page moved from Ormoc City to Davao City, to be with her. That was two weeks before the 2013 super Typhoon, that virtually wiped Tacloban off the map, and did SERIOUS damage to Ormoc City. He told me the house he had been living in, was destroyed, so I like to think I had a hand in saving his life.
By then I had retired from 25 years with the California Department of corrections, after 20 years in the USAF. and in November of 2013, I made my way to Davao City. Who was there to meet me at Bangoy airport? None other than Page and my wife. That was the first time I had ever met him in person. We enjoyed fellowship for several years, as he and Marlene were living a short walk from Menierva and I. Fast forward to 2016. Page fell ill, sad to say, for him and us as well. He was admitted to Brokenshire Memorial Hospital about August 4th. By Sunday, he was moved to intensive care, and we knew it wasn't good. Menierva and Marlene had been at the hospital 24/7. Monday morning, August 8th, my wife called me, in tears, and said I needed to come to the hospital ASAP. I arrived about 11 AM, but there were a bunch of medical staff in the room, so I talked to him as best I could from the hallway. I think he was just waiting for me. Even though I didn't know if he heard me, my wife told me that not only did he hear me, but he saw me too, and it was at that time he gave up, and shortly thereafter, he slipped away and went home to be with Jesus Christ. It was a gut wrenching experience that I have no desire to repeat anytime soon.
It was a privilege to have known Page in person, not just online, but I know the lives of many were enriched by knowing him. He will be missed by all.
Thank you friends, for allowing me to tell the story. 😩

May God comfort Marlene, Minierva and you ... any ONE of us is here for you.
Marlene, your wonderful husband greatly added to the conversations in the Trump threads and in others....
He will be missed by those of us who enjoyed his “open house” comments about life in the Philippines and especially your own cooking...
Be comforted that he is with the LORD Jesus Christ in whom he trusted as Savior...
We came to love you and appreciate how Page loved you through his proud descriptions of how sweet and kind and talented you are..

May the Grace and Peace of our Lord Jesus Christ comfort Marlene and family in this time of mourning, yet Hope.
I enjoyed his posts. He knew his Bible, and had a great wit which broke the ice on a number of threads. He was a fighter for the Truth. I am proud to have known him even if on an anonymous internet forum. I look forward to meeting him in person on that Glorious Day.
I will pray the family will be enveloped in the warm and loving embrace only our Lord Jesus Christ can provide. For those who know Him, know of his great love and kindness.
God Bless
