On his daily KABC radio show, TV personality and medical doctor “Dr. Drew” Pinsky weighed in on Clinton’s potential health problems.
Dr. Drew says that he’s “gravely concerned” for Clinton, but not about her health. He believes she may not be receiving the right treatment for her condition. “She’s receiving 1950-level care by our evaluation,” said Pinsky. “She had two episodes of deep-vein thrombosis, she also has hypothyroidism. She’s being treated for that condition with something called ‘Armour Thyroid,’ which is very unconventional and something we used to use in the 1960s.”
He goes on to describe Clinton’s doctors’ medication choices as “weird,” saying “certainly a presidential candidate would get one of the newer anticoagulants.”
Pinsky also notes the rarity of her CVST (of which he’s only had one other case in his entire career), and that in order to have it something has to be wrong with her coagulation system.
“Oh, by the way: Armour Thyroid [is] associated rarely with hypercoagulability. So the very medicine doctors are using may be causing this problem, and they’re using an old-fashioned medicine to treat it — what is going on with her health care? It’s bizarre. Maybe they have reasons, but at a distance, it looks bizarre.”
* CVST is a rare form of stroke, according to Johns Hopkins Medicine. It occurs when a blood clot forms in the brain’s venous sinuses. When the blood clot forms, blood can’t drain from the brain — ultimately, blood cells break and leak into the brain tissues causing a hemorrhage.
It’s incredibly rare, affecting about five in one million people each year, according to U.S. estimates. The symptoms include headache, blurred vision, fainting or loss of consciousness, loss of control over movement in parts of the body and seizures.

Made me laugh.
I believe his emphasis was actually on her childhood doctors - that overall her medical treatment would make sense if she were seeing a doctor from the 50’s and she would have been in Arkansas then.

In both cases, the doctors were not only treating the condition itself, but also deal with the effects of the enormous stress influences of their patients trying to run the whole world as a dictator at war.
In other words, who, with Hillary's problems, would be allowed by their doctor to try to run for president? The stress alone would require medical attention, even with nothing wrong. I'm sure Trump, at a healthy 70 years old, is taking extremely careful care of his health right now - eating, exercising, sleeping, all of it. There's just too much stress to screw up.
It's like the difference in blowing out a tire on a bicycle at 10 mph, versus on a motorcycle at 70 mph. You just don't chance it - but chancing it, while already seriously ill, is exactly what Hillary is doing. And her doctor is trying to keep her alive while she does it, almost like a doctor at a MASH unit has different priorities than a doctor at home.
Except that she didn’t live in Arkansas that long ago and any doctor practicing back then would probably be dead or in a retirement home by now.
The governor of my state, Greg Abbot is a paraplegic and ambulates with a wheelchair-he is in no way impaired in his job by his disability-so I don’t have a problem with an elected leader having a physical disability-as long as they aren’t taking heavy duty pain killers, sleeping pills, or any other potentially dangerous drugs-when I was a kid it was rumored that JFK was taking all that and a type of amphetamine as well-I’m guessing if it had come to light as fact, Americans wouldn’t have felt all that safe with his fingers near the nuke button.
I do have a BIG problem with an elected leader being emotionally unstable or mentally ill-we already have one with narcissistic personality disorder and delusions-because they will be taking every psychotropic drug their doctor can give them to make them appear normal and mentally healthy-but Obama probably just gets stoned on the illegal stuff...
I’ll bet real money that Hillary is on at least two antidepressants, probably has pain meds for her bad knees- brought on by obesity-and for all we know, she could be taking barbiturates to sleep, some kind of speed to stay awake, tranquilizers for temper control-for all we know, she might be doing the thorazine shuffle when out of the public eye-does any of that make make us feel safe? I didn’t think so...

I never knew or cared where she grew up - I just thought she met Dollar Bill (great name!) in Arkansas. It’s possible the Dr. in question never knew or cared about her bio info either.
The kind of thirst it takes to plunge the entire Middle East into war, killing millions, so you can make a profit. The kind of thirst that allows you to sit down with a raped twelve year old and tell her she's a slut and brought it on herself, so you can win a case for a rapist you know is guilty. The kind of thirst that enables you to look into the eyes of the parents of the men you deliberately killed and tell them that a video did it - and then lie that you ever told them that and call them mentally ill.

Well said. Good points. But this particular (medical) power thirst seems to extend to threatening her own life, which is the only thing that matters to her.
