Stop feeding the beast, for starters. Not an easy thing to do, but reduce your tax liability until you owe nothing. Requires sacrifice, believe me, but you know what they say...Freedom isn't free.

The problem lies in the fact that we continue to consent to this government, which has gone far outside the bounds of Constitutionality it isn't funny. We consent to a corrupt financial system every time we spend or accept "Federal Reserve Notes". We consent to a criminal IRS system every time we write that annual check. We consent to the destruction of our 2nd Amendment every time we walk into a gun store and submit to an un-Constitutional background check.

See? Freedom requires sacrifice. Today, we are entirely unwilling to sacrifice, because it means our mortgages and homes and cars and toys and big screen TV's will likely go away.

I see your point and agree—in time will be doing just that. It is a long-term solution that will not solve the problem NOW.

For the time being, what you suggest is not an option for me or many here and in the US—uh we need money to eat...the garden I grow certainly helps, but I don’t have a farm...paychecks and investing unfortunately are the most expeditious way to obtain money for most...

Besides, the internet is a critical resource for many folks. Many Freepers as well as others seek information—political, non-political such as health and DIY, etc., and we expect it to be non-filtered...

We need to stop this hand-off of a valuable resource to the UN...NOW...They have no business telling us what to do...We live in in the United States of America governed by the US Constitution, NOT the UN!!
